I met him once at a comic book convention in NYC about 25 years ago. Nice guy. Still have my signed Daredevil 1/2 book from Marvel/ Wizard Entertainment, one of my personal treasures, in my collection.

Yes, I saw the announcement on John Jr.'s Twitter, as I'm a follower.

I grew up with John Jr. on Dazzler, Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil. He's one of my Big 3 of the 80s along with Byrne and Perez. So glad that his Dad influenced him to go into comics. They've both had astounding legacies.

I'm guessing that the Heroes Comicon we're going to this weekend in Charlotte is going to be full-on dedicated to Romita Sr. RIP.
