Gamer Girls
It's definitely an industry focused more towards 'the boys'....that's for sure. I remember earlier this year when BioWare made their announcements for Mass Effect 3 release in 2012, that they received all kinds of high praises for having a Female Commander Shepard on the box cover. Not that is to be looked upon as moving an industry more towards a female playing audience. But it did show a gaming company take notice that there is a rather LARGE female player fan base. And no matter what the genre of game they create....its not only 'boy gamers' who are purchasing it.
