That's what I said, but Sara said no and she's the boss. She thinks the costume already covers up too much and that Valor should get a mask but not Nightfox...staggerlee wrote:Absolutely love it! You should add a mask, though.
Sara is my wife… so whatever she says goes lolsgz6 wrote:Nice design, and I'd say the actress is right, no mask for her.
Which familiar character is she supposed to be? Is she a female Space Ghost?Ripper1 wrote:Well I would say that is a twist on a somewhat familiar Character, I kind of like the way you have taken the dark colors & reversed it to white. look forward to seeing more updates of this saga

I agree with your wife.DefeatedHeroines wrote:That's what I said, but Sara said no and she's the boss. She thinks the costume already covers up too much and that Valor should get a mask but not Nightfox...staggerlee wrote:Absolutely love it! You should add a mask, though.
I think a mask would be nice to add to that "sly as a fox" imagery. Or maybe fox ears (via Anne Hathaway's Catwoman)?DefeatedHeroines wrote:That's what I said, but Sara said no and she's the boss. I think she looks more like Space Ghost than the Jean Grey, Phoenix.Ripper1 wrote:now that you mention that she is portraying a Space Ghost The outfit is spot on & fits totally
Nice Promo poster

Hopefully the magnetic power leads to some cool metal-bondagey scenarios.

She has teleportation and invisibilitysgz6 wrote:Nice! What's her power set.
Also thumbs up on the hosiery decision!
lol that picture you posted IS the 1st picture.possum2 wrote:The first pic you posted isn't visible anymore.
Since you're going with the red and black theme I hope this pic is your inspiration (minus the jacket), this would look awesome.
Hopefully you can get the hair stripe in there too.
That second picture is way too bulky of an outfit, between the glasses, trenchcoat, the chinstrap or whatever that thing is , you cen't see enough of her.
if I can find one local who wants to do the project and is professional and easy to work with… you wouldn't believe how difficult it can be to find someone who is all of those things… and I refuse to hate my job so I don't work with anyone who isn't coolrayman wrote:Pics are always appreciated and I hope in one of the projects we get a true amazon/fitness/miscle girl.
A character like Atlanta playe dby Cory Everson from the Sorbo Hercules would be awesome!
DefeatedHeroines wrote:So we went back and forth with whether we wanted to do a single leotard style for our Supergirl-type character or a 2-piece. Well, in the end, I personally prefer the 2-piece (for those of you who remember my old avatar) so that's what we're doing!
I was thinking anyway, for all you 1984 fans, that there are PLENTY of videos out there featuring that style PLUS we have several single-style leotard based costumes already. Anywho, here's the logo and costume design I came up with, which features, as I had already made my mind up before… the color scheme I wanted for my Girl of Steel, Angelstar
So basically this from your other thread was changed?DefeatedHeroines wrote:I guess I'll have to be creative then. It seems like I can do that without getting beat up on the forums lol I just want to make sure! Well, since the majority is for the 1984 Supergirl, then that's where we will go. I put up a separate post for an Indiegogo campaign… who knows if it'll help, but it'll give me a boost in the right direction to get it all going. I don't want to half-ass it so I need to do it right from the beginning. And the first film will be Supergirl… in the 1984 costume (or one that resembles it)
Oh my goodness! I'm looking forward to seeing Angela wearing that!DefeatedHeroines wrote:So we went back and forth with whether we wanted to do a single leotard style for our Supergirl-type character or a 2-piece. Well first there was a subsequent decision made to use original characters which would be only very loosely based on existing characters. Then I think the plan to make Angelstar the 1st character was scratched, because none of the first few actresses cast were right for the role. Then those first few characters were designed with one piece leotard based costumes. In other words...a whole lot changed since that original Supergirl costume poll.sgz6 wrote:So basically this from your other thread was changed?DefeatedHeroines wrote:I guess I'll have to be creative then. Listen I don't care that much about it, but if you ask peoples' opinions decide to do it that way and then change it to something different, it just rubs me the wrong way.
