Hi Everyone,

I wanted to ask a quick question: I am a total Vampires, Fallen Angels & Demons dork and have been nagging at Logan to do a series with them, but we aren’t sure if there is a following like there is for the Superheroines.

Any feedback on this idea/storyline?

Is this something you guys would want to watch/see (including a LOT of the same elements as our current series)?

If not, do you guys have any suggestions on types of forums or locations where I could ask around?

If I get enough feedback maybe Logan will let me start a sexy Vampire series with some Superhero elements intertwined - maybe a HYBRID series with both…

Well not sure if this is what you're looking for but I love the idea of a lady vampire targeting superheroines. She wants to drink their blood for the power they have. Something along those lines would be cool.

Like the idea where you as a vampire can take down even the most powerful heroine with a hypnotic stare.Freeze her,carry her away (ots) and store them away for later.It leaves open the possible big battle where its you against every heroine Logan has.

To me the best part of vampires is hypnosis (that *gaze*) and possession (like when a vampire can make a weaker-willed person their thrall, or servant).

I love the idea of a male vampire (or vampires) luring a pair of unsuspecting heroines into their waiting arms, giving them a pick peck on the neck, and forcing them to be their slaves.

The same thing could also work without the heroines of course...but I'd be more interested in it *with* them.

All those are great ideas! Yes, I'm a HUGE supernatural fan for sure! I'm also a big sucker for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter etc - used to have the one ring and Galadriel's necklace and ring lol!

I do like the hypnotic concept for the vampires for sure and we will have both males and females in the series

I'd prefer a standalone series. You could have the same elements but instead of superheroines you could have a holy order who get their powers from some divine beings battling the demons. I sure would enjoy watching some pure member of the order become corrupted by the demons, vampires etc.

I mean the vamp is already dead. since most heroines don't kill and vamps don't get tired really. The vamp would out last a heroine in a fight....great idea.....

I think she is trying to keep Superheroines out of this series. It would just be vampires and demons and fallen angels - no Superheroines at all...

Paris Kennedy did the same at Slayer Paris and Sanguin- X.And they did a Mina the Witch series that had vamps in it too

SP had all star casts - PK, Cali Logan, CC , DK and various others and I think it did well enough, just that they had a continuous story arc that just meant it got harder and harder to get them all together to continue the shoots.
I think depending on content there would be interest here but if there is no SH involvement I don't think it should be actively promoted here once / if it's up and running. There are probably horror forums for that. Got no issue with you sounding out opinions here.

Honestly, I don't think there's a big enough market for it…. but it's something she wants to do… I have a few projects that border Superheroine vs other markets already, but this one, to me, completely takes us out - but in her defense, all of the same exact elements would be included. The only 2 differences are no eye lasers (e.g. elemental-type super powers) and a different wardrobe. But the peril, and action/peril elements we have in our existing series would all carry over… so it's hard to say if the interest would be there since I personally don't know if most viewers are drawn for the actual Superheroine aspect of it, or for the fetish elements that come with it - if you had to choose….

It's definitely the SH element is the key driver for all on this forum otherwise we wouldn't be here.
There are bondage/ porn sites for the rest of it .
Implicit in the vampire story though is the sexual element - victims are usually young, virginal, girls, bodily fluids are swapped ( ok blood rather than semen but still) , often it's the vamp entering the bedroom etc. The whole genre is full of latent and obvious sexual references. If you aren't going to deliver on the sexual end of it then I agree it's not likely to be a goer.

Hmm I might be interested in an alone series depends on probably what each episode is about. I'm usually a F/F guy so I like heroines and villainesses. If there's an episode with a female vampire trapping a Fallen Angel/ Vampire Hunter heroine I might be inclined to pick it up. Like others have mentioned I love the hypnotic power a vampire can have combined with their desire to feed on another's strength through a bite.

Be interested in seeing what you come up with!

A serie about vampires could be a great idea !

I don't know if there are many Role Players here but I think you should take a look at the RPG book "Vampire: The Masquerade" which inspired the movie Underworld. I think this is the best and the most complete source of inspirations for this.

In this book, each Vampire belongs to a distinct clan or bloodline. These groupings share distinct characteristics, stereotypes, super powers and curses ( Clans list ). There are also three main sects that Clans belong to ( Sects list ).

Exemple 1:
The members of the Lasombra's Clan can control shadows, have supernatural strength and can overwhelms another person's mind. However, due to their inherent clan weakness, Lasombra vampires cast no reflections. They cannot be seen in mirrors, bodies of water, reflective windows, polished metals, photographs and security cameras, etc. Additionally, due to their penchant for darkness, Lasombra take an extra level of damage from sunlight. Lasombras are members of the Sabbat Sect (Like the Tzimisce's Clan).

Exemple 2:
The members of the Toreador's Clan are often artists (Painters, actors ...). They are often beautiful and glamorous. They have supernatural senses, supernatural speed and supernatural allure and emotional manipulation. Due to their inherent clan weakness, although lovely and seductive, the members of this clan are as much prisoners of their artistic vision and sensitivity as they are its beneficiaries. They are often overcome by the beauty they see around them, and become immobilized with fascination. This trait explains why Toreador so often fall in love with mortals. Toreadors are member of the Camarilla Sect (Like the Ventrue, Tremere, Nosferatu, Brujah, Gangrel and Malkavian's Clan). The Camarilla is at war with the Sabbat.

In "Vampire - The Masquarade", you can also find Werewolves, Mages, Demons, Hunters and Faeries. All these species are split in several clans like the vampires.
Finally, I think a world inspired by this could allow a lot of peril situations and good scenarii (there are many different kinds of characters and super powers).

Hey Everyone,

YESSSS!!!! I LOVE what you've all posted here - looks like I have a LOT of research to start on! I'm glad that the consensus seems to be that as long as I keep some of the main elements that the genre calls for then changing some of the rules and parameters of a new universe seem to still be intriguing to you al!

I DO still plan to have a "Heroine"-esque character that the series will follow - kind of a Laura Croft meets Buffy, but with some supernatural powers of her own that she slowly discovers during the series. I do also plan to have the whole sexual aspect of the biting, blood spill, sensualness that Vampires typically call for with the badass temperament of the Fallen Angels etc.

I will for sure take a look at all of your suggestions as well to get a better idea of the genre as a whole. I want to make sure I nail this one on the head since this will be MY baby

I am going to be posting updates talking with fans on our Heroine Chat so that I don't fill up this forum with idea flows etc lol. Some have come up with some great ideas on there as well so I'm very excited for the growing excitement for this!!!

Great idea. I'm pretty sure it will be a hit, although you will need to get the right fetish element(s) to generate on-going interest and sales. I haven't come across any forum that specifically focuses on vampires and demons, but the hypno power of vampires will open up the mind control fetish element and should help you bring in a new fan base - so you should try the various mind control forums as well. There is also a site call evilwomenmovies.com which has a large number of vampiress and demoness related movies for sale and maybe they have some links that may point you to the right on-line forum.

On the character design you should also consider the comic book character Vampirella - there is a site called www.vampirella.com and I think they have even made a movie out of it some years ago starring Talisa Soto - she also appeared as Kitana in the Mortal Kombat movie. The movie ultraviolet starring Mila jokovic and the Underground franchise starring Kate Beckinsale are also other characters of interest.

In terms of story line, you may also want to look at the plots from some successful Japanese animation series Trinity Blood (Vampires), Helsing (Vampires) and Fate/Stay Night (non-vampires). They have more complex storylines which may give you some inspirations. They all have wikipedia sites dedicated to them - just put in the name of the series and you can get an idea of their plots. An possible plot maybe something like she is born a vampire (not turned) - which makes her stronger and immune to sunlight with conflicting prophecies hanging over her head that she will one day lead the vampire nation rule human kind but also she is the savior of human kind from the vampire nation. She fights the darkness within herself and sometimes she is turned evil. She fights against the vampire nation and sides with the Helsing organisation but is also hunted by the Illuminati - a secret organisation. She searches for her past and destiny while seeking out the one sacred object that all sides want - the sacred grail that can turn vampire back to human or make that invulnerable. And in the process, she comes up against many creatures, in her own savage ways, mostly good but sometimes evil.

Anyway, this project sounds really exciting - I really look forward to it.

YES! I will totally bring the mind-control aspect into the series as that's one of my favorite parts about vampires for sure! I'll take a look at those suggestions as well, although I have seen the Underworld Trilogy like 100 times since I own it and LOVE it!!!!
