It's not crap. If you are on someone's forum and you break the rules of the forum or refuse to comply with the rules of the moderator, you get banned. That's as simple as it gets.

Play nice or get thrown out. Those are your only two choices, and it is not up for debate. This is no democracy. This is a forum board. :|

That's between the moderator (whomever it may happen to be) and the individual people who got deleted. It's really not important to anyone else.

Shouldn't we all know what the rules are? Where are the rules posted?

Sometimes, this industry could use a group hug.

Of course there's probably a fetish for that.

Actually it is, since those new releases bring in money that ultimately goes to support their business. Honestly if one producer can't do it, then none of them should be allowed, but as I have seen with several message boards, fairness is hardly ever the way it works.

This is all I am going to say on this matter because it's private and I refuse the feed the drama. However, some of you can't seem to let it go and now it's becoming a game of telephone. If you've never played that game, you should. It's a lot of fun.

Anyway, Evangeline was not banned because of anything that was said in the porn vs. peril thread. I had received some complaints about her BEFORE that thread was created and I contacted her about that. There was a dialogue but the situation couldn't be resolved.

Angelique is gone because she was promoting another forum through our PM system. One of our fans here told me about it, I checked it out, saw it was true, so she got the boot.

We, and I say we because there are more than just me that work on this forum, have worked very hard to make this forum what it is today. This is supposed to be an enjoyable diversion from our everyday life. It's also a place where producers can come and post their releases and interact with fans. I envisioned it as a site that encouraged community bonding and building.
When someone comes along and tries to undermine that then I will step in and take care of it.

Those of you who have been here the longest know there haven't been many, if any, bans on this board and there won't be.
I have often stated that we have some of the best fans in the world because it's you, the fan who sets the tone for this board. It's out of the hands of myself and the other mods. You have yourselves to thank for making it great, which it is.

Im not a stranger to social media, I embrace it. I also read what these two ladies have said about me and about this site. I am going to take the high road and not address the insults and the negatives, but I will state one thing. If I, or anyone else here were jealous of any other producer, would we create a forum to help them promote their videos? We have over 50 producers on this board. Some are starting out and some do very well. This board serves a higher purpose: To help cultivate and grow the genre that we love.
Think about how much better we've all become as producers thanks to the input we receive from the fans of our work.

Anyway, thats all I am going to say about it. If you want to discuss it among yourselves, go ahead.
If you have questions you can ask me, which suprisingly few people have.

@ Mighty Hypnotic - I'm not certain people are upset that you banned a couple of our members, per se. I think people are upset because you banned them without explanation to the community. On an open forum, such as this one, I'm not convinced such an act could ever be "private" and I think everyone deserves an explanation. Without an explanation, it appears to those on the outside that it's an arbitrary ban and it fosters animosity. I think your most recent post has provided an adequate explanation, which is what you should have done immediately following the ban. I'm sorry to hear that two of the producers and members of this site violated the rules.

@HM - thanks for the explanation, though I must admit it doesn't leave me contented :/

Firstly I've promoted the SHIB forum as a place to contact certain producers a number of times on threads openly and not been banned - so why would promoting a forum privately result in a ban? I didn't realise that was against forum rules - could we have the rules clearly laid out?

Secondly, as said above - banning Evangeline while she was being flamed without any form of explanation is just bad form.

I don't hold any animosity towards the mods for the bans particularly, meerly for the way they did, or did not, manage the situation surrounding the bans and the Porn vs Peril debacle.

Though admittedly the forum is now segregated :/

I agree with enigma that the forum is not segregated. The purpose of the Heroine Dungeon forum is to protect visitors to this site from being exposed to harder content that they do not wish to see in the main forum, while at the same time creating a forum where those who prefer the harder content can openly discuss their interest unabashed. From what I see so far, those who post in the Heroine Dungeon are continuing to post in the main forum as well, so I don't see what's changed.

The owner of the forum should have a reserved right to remove anyone, at any time, for any reason.

MH contacted both producers privately beforehand and explained to them that what they were doing was in violation of the forum's etiquette. Both protested their stance, but after a while it was clear that neither producer was willing to take a step back and rectify the situation to MH's approval. It was at that point that both producers were banned. That is well within the admin's right. It shouldn't be open to debate. If admin says you need to play nice, then you need to play nice.

For Angelique, this was her second account deletion in two months.

This isn't about fascism. This isn't about abuse of power, either. It's a forum board.

As already seen, they started their own forum board and I think that's great. It's where they can do their own thing and post all they like. My boss Vesta just started a new thread there to wish them luck. I hope it does well for them.

At no time did I mention producers can't advertise their videos. We have a section explicitly for that purpose.

Also, This isn't "my site". I just run it with a couple of other people. It USED to be attached to my website but I felt it should stand alone because we, as a genre, didn't have a superheroine forum.

What do you mean there is no security?

Big surprise there.
banning Evangeline while she was being flamed without any form of explanation is just bad form.
Disagree. Eve wasn't being flamed. Her rants and self serving attitude were being challenged. And Eve isn't known for accepting criticism. She has a long history of this behaviour. Check out the "about me" section on her website, very bitter and angry towards models, producers, everyone who doesn't agree that she is the greatest fetish model/producer of all time. She's part of a small group of troublemaking producers who can't get along with each other, much less the customers they want to service. There's plenty of evidence over at the Chloroforum and now SleepPeeps. No surprise what happened here.

Kithos' new forum is just a place for these troublemakers to surround themselves with people who will only tell them what they want to hear. Very self congratulatory and insular. They can have it.

@Nightx1221-you sound like a plant. Get over it. She's gone and good riddance. Attacking Shakeshift when he hasn't said anything that wasn't true is childish. And his feelings for Eve are not exactly a state secret which makes your attacks even more transparent.

If this keeps up, I'm sending you all to timeout.

I like it here. I like things at SHIB and I like things at the forum where Angelique and some other friends hang out. Each place has its own nice charm about it and I feel rather comfy at all three places. I've no control over how things are run wherever so I just try to focus on what I can, which is produce the content I can, promote where allowed and give thumbs up to others in the industry as they do their thing as a well as a big thanks to those who allow me to to do what I do at the boards.

Granted I haven't been without my own arguments with whomever wherever, but I've been able to really mellow out and I now just try to enjoy life. I like Angelique and it's great that I've been able to work with her as much as I have. I consider Hypno to be a huge inspiration to me and my own work. There are other great producers and talents that I know of or have worked with that I like a lot, even if some of these people aren't big fans of each other or even that big a fan of me.

I guess the funny part for me is that I haven't even paid much attention to the Porn Vs. Peril thread since my feelings about it are so bland I'm not even sure it would matter, which is basically that we're all into what we're into. If a producer can make a living being able to cater to either audience then all's fair either way. Doesn't seem like too much to get worked up about unless insults are thrown. I usually just ignore those at this point.

...Wait, am I a troublemaker? Crap, hate when that happens!

Some say it's because they're female producers but I'm still here. Others because they're underdog producers but so am I and I generally get along peacefully with everyone here. So it looks like its an Angelique and eve issue not the former two. I'm sorry but you can all keep digging and fighting the admin and causing drama or you can just leave. It's up to you. I for one am over this drama an if I were admin I'd lock this thread and future discussions of these things.
