The Infamous WW Costume

Okay, so with all the changes that have happened to Wonder Woman's costume over the last several years, I was just wondering (no pun intended) if you guys had a preference of one costume over the other? I gotta tell you, it's rough trying to keep up with the comics, they change her costume constantly! I have several versions of the costume, right down to the Star Saphire one that was specially made for me, but I want to know that if you had your choice, what Wonder Woman costume do you prefer? Or do you have an idea for your own version?

For me, it's got to be the costume Lynda Carter wore in Seasons 2 and 3 of the TV series.

The version I prefer is the one drawn by Mike Deodato in the comic (Wonder Woman, vol. 2, #0, 85, 90-100 in 1994–95).
This is almost the classic outfit with an higher cut .

I loved the 70's costume as well - Lynda Carter looked so beautiful in it … but I also hate to say, I do quite like the version Gal Gadot is going to be wearing in the forthcoming Batman v Superman movie.

I love the wet suit and the skater suit too. Lynda's hands looked great in those gloves.

I like the season 2/3 costume BUT maybe with a more revealing back.....there was something about the cut that was a little strange; high cut in front, but low on hips and full butt.

After Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy i think Colorful Costumes should be the New Black at least for non-originally stealth oriented characters of course with anything from the Goddamn Batman canon as the rare exception !

I will be alone here but, despite I loved Linda as Wonder Woman, I never liked her costume. I prefer when the bracelets are longer, I'm not a fan of pantyhose and her short/panty is so low cut and big that it makes it look like a diaper.

It's just an artwork but I prefer when her costume looks like this :

After all the praise the Axel Braun / Kimberly Kane costume got for the publicity shot, I'm amused to see Axel managed to ruin it by putting Kimberly in awful platform boots.

As far as footwear goes, I find nothing less sexy than clumpy boots that belong on a member of KISS or Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster. Honestly, even fluorescent Crocs would turn me on more than Glam Rock platform boots.

I thought the skirt always looked incredibly cheap. The Axel Braun costume looks best by far. The high cut and the materials do it.

Lynda Carter costume for me, particularly the later seasons.

I also like the alternate costumes, like the diving suit and the motorcycle suit. They should have added a space suit, too, while they were at it (Motorcycle/diving suit with a bubble spacesuit helmet).

I also like the star-spangled cape Lynda Carter wore on formal occasions. It was a nice way to dress up the costume without covering it up too much.

I hate the hoplite armor look they keep trying to force on her. She's Wonder Woman, not "Battle Axe." I don't like Wonder Woman carrying a sword either: she isn't Murder Woman.

Last I checked, He-Man and She-Ra walked around with swords all the time and finished their series with a combined kill count of 0.

Yeah but wasn't that a faked death by a shape shifter?

From what I remember, Skeletor changed a gargoyle into a regular looking dude and fooled He-Man into believing he killed him. He-Man then changed into Prince Adam and threw his sword away. He later got it back (and rather easy). I think the episode is called "The Price of Power"

I like to say I really liked the Wonder Woman costume from the pilot. Can't wait to see her as Mockingbird on Shield this year

Wasn't 1974 the era WW was basically depowered in the comics and turned into a spy girl?

Oh I am not defending the movie. I've watched it probably 2 or three times. This was regular TV for a while in my day. Not even sexually interesting. Then she went on to host That's Incredible.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the modern incarnation of Wonder Woman. They've made a willingness to kill into a distinguishing characteristic of the character, right after "wears bracers" and before "magic lasso."

In regards to the Khan vs Kathy Lee WW movie, the fallen Amazon later became one of Barker's Beauties on TPIR.
