Oficial Announcement Regarding Camp productions

Starting this month (November 2014) we will be releasing 2 movies each month. For awhile we were just releasing 1 a month, but we decided that we would start producing a classic camp version every month as well as our usual stuff. So expect to see a Gas peril film released in the next few days. It will have sleeping gas, electro shock. a key and two doors. one leading to freedom....one leading to death. This movie will also have two versions to choose from. A version in which she escapes and is free the other where she chooses the wrong door and is killed.
We will be using the classic retro batgirl for these camp films and leave the latex for the darker, less campier movies movies.

One thing I'd say about camp is that it should be deadpan, like the Batman TV series. No matter how ridiculous the situation and dialogue might be, it needs to be played straight.

The Daredoll Dilemmas and Stormy Tempest videos attempt camp, but I find cross they line too far into farce. If the performers are clearly having fun, the perils just seem a bit crap.

I fully agree.
The idea is that we will be having outrageously silly looking villains with corny dialog and costume but the peril will be real. the heroes will react to silliness with straight faced seriousness. The perils will be terrible but they will sell them as if its life and death.

At least thats where we are going with it.

A villain who's entire gimmick revolves around pantyhose.
reacting seriously to ludicrous peril traps.
thats a good idea but amp it up.

We just finished shooting it and it should take a week or two in editing for fx before its ready. if Im lucky I can put it out in a week.

Yesterday we shot a gas peril movie in which Batgirl was gassed, then she woke up in a room filled with large black balloons. She is then told that inside one of them is a key. the others are filled with the same sleepy bass she inhaled earlier. if she gets three doses of the gas she dies. She eventually finds the key and goes through a maze looking for the doors needed. then she is faced with another death peril. one door leads to freedom, the other to death.
She chooses and depending on which version you ordered you get your ending.
This should be ready by tomorrow hopefully.
