Sexual Peril - Anal sex

I have purchased many superheroine erotica stories over the past month, and read more novels on free story sites. Anal in sex stories is rarely done right. Most SHIP writers get it wrong, and I mean really wrong. Too many SHIP writers reveal the tearing of skin and bleeding. Blood and sex do not mix. It ruins the moment and visual of the sexual peril.

Yes, anal bleeding sometimes happen in reality. However, it is not pretty. The average person does not want to vision it. It makes us uncomfortable and turned off. We want our erotica or porn to be clean of blood.

I was reading Dangerguy's first volume of Duster. I was reading the second peril scene with the other villain. The villain is going to have anal sex with Duster and says she is really tight. The story goes into small details about Duster's skin tearing and bleeding. I could not finish reading the story. That visual ruined the experience, and I have not picked up it. I doubt I will finish the story.

Don Ship and Steven Bell are two of the guys who write good anal stories. They mention how tight the superheroine's ass is and go further with the sexual peril. They get the key element right. Their stories never mention bleeding and blood. My visual experience is not ruined with anything unwanted in sexual peril.

Imagineer, this is a non-productive response to someone expressing his honest opinion. It's not helpful. Please refrain from taking cheap shots at fellow members.

While I completely agree with Doc's message here, I just can't pass up the opportunity to show my appreciation for the movie "Broadcast News". Not only is it a brilliant film, it's just as topical today as it was when it came out.

By the way, Geeky Porn Critic, while I support your right to express your opinion about how you prefer anal sex scenes to be written I take exception to your capitalized assertion in your topic line that such writing is WRONG!

I'm not a fan either of such scenes of anal sex as you describe with details about blood and tearing. But as one who has written a good many sex scenes in my works that are dungeon-based for good reason, I would be unhappy indeed to have my work described as WRONG. I've certainly received many criticims that my work is too harsh for some readers but I can't say it's been labelled as WRONG.

Frankly it is a matter of taste and, short of scenes involving underage victims which are deemed WRONG and even criminal, our community here encompasses a wide range of acceptance. So, I would ask you to pick your words a bit more carefully as you would have others do. We don't want any blood or tearing between the members here.

That said, I generally find your opinions here intriguing and thoughtful. Let's just remember that they are opinions.

It's cliché to even point it out, but it is worth remembering erotica is the same as all matters of taste in that we aren't all looking for the same thing, and the line is particularly nuanced with erotica that centres around a heroine getting defeated and raped. In a vacuum, the central premise looks pretty violent and horrible, right? There's probably only a very thin beam in which such a scene could be sexy to watch, and I have to imagine there will be plenty of people out there that do like the more traumatic or unflattering elements of these scenes when the powerful heroine is laid low. The other day someone in the sexual elements thread posted that they wanted to see heroines begging to die, being used as human toilets, getting waterboarded and so on. Some people want more violence than others; some people want the heroine really hurt, really miserable, and really broken. For each of us there will be a right way and a wrong way for our itch to be scratched, but I agree with Dr D that clearly there isn't actually a right or wrong way in the universal sense.

All of that said, I agree with you that I wouldn't like that in a scene, but then I wouldn't want the anal in the scene to begin with. I think the Duster series is good, though. It's worth giving it another chance and maybe just skipping over any lines that might knock you out of the scene. Dangerguy is a great writer.

anal...the evil most humiliating position a person can be put in....so hard...so brutal...and definatly a bonus if performed as part of a DP scene!! I find it interesting that some genre of films always have the girl being DP'd and others do not....

I apologize for offending anyone. I don't think anyone's work is wrong. Everyone is free to express themselves in their writing. Some writers have different ideas and visions for their work.

Forgive me for resurrecting this thread, but I just found this folder.

I agree about not wanting to see/read such gruesome details. This is erotica, and my tastes are a little less bloody. I can get pretty bloody in the fight scenes, though, and I'm sure that turns people off. But we all have different tastes: Different strokes for different folks.

I think Dangerguys is great, too. I honestly don't remember that scene, but I tend to just skip over anything not to my tastes. His poser art on DeviantArt of Duster and his other heroines is amazing, too. Check it out if you have already.
