I don't think that's a great idea. It may make people feel unwanted and leave the forums. Some members do not share the same political beliefs, but there is no need to constantly bother someone about it. We can respect each other's beliefs without constantly saying "No Thanks".

I think people online already disregard too much and too lightly a basic tenet of politeness: if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
I don't see positive value in making it even quicker and easier to do so.

Of course, generally when we disregard that tenet we feel in the moment that we're justified in setting aside that first rule of polite club -- hearty discussion is worthwhile and/or the topic is too important to observe silence, and we pledge to ourselves that we can still be polite, or at least as polite as the source of our objections deserve :) -- but I think if you're going to actively dislike a thing you ought to use your words and provide more nuance than "no."

But don't let this opinion of this suggestion discourage further suggestions intended to improve our community.
