We accomplished a lot today with the distribution of Heroineburgh Comics #2 to a dozen shops in the Pittsburgh region.
They will all have the comic up on shelves within the next few days.

Here are our regional outlets: Copacetic Comics, Mustang Comics, New Dimension Waterfront, Phantom Monroeville,
Bill & Walt's, Phantom Oakland, Geekadrome, Heroes Ink, Phantom Greentree, Big Bang Comics, Pittsburgh Comics,
and South Side Comics.

Next step - get this book out all over the continent! We already shipped to a few stores in the US and Canada today, including
new additions Rhino's Comics in Rochester NY, Golden Memories in Long Island, and Kapow Comics in Little Rock AK..and within
two months we'll have them shipped to about 100 shops. (It takes a bit of time since we print them in batches of 100)

Mauricia (as Vendetta, the Italian spirit of vengeance) taped a promo today for our Youtube channel.

And Bridget (as Arctica, mistress of the frost) looks fetching in this photo she posted yesterday on Instagram. Arctica just can't control her passion for the other heroines in their tight spandex..we'll have to see where that gets her in Episode 19!

Yes indeed. Well, Comikaza on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv has our first issue. Haven't been able to send them our #2 issue yet because of covid lockdowns. But I'll be checking with the owner Ori next week to see if things have loosened up a bit.

Gateway Comics (Fredericksburg, VA)
Jersey's Comics (Hayes, Hampton and Yorktown, VA)

Want to talk about comics? How about indie comics from Pittsburgh featuring spandex-clad superheroines?

Leaving no stone unturned....Heroineburgh and Marvin Wynn (creator of The Edge, a 90s-style superhero action series, now published
by Second Sight) are the two Pittsburgh comics creators on the morning show "Coffee and Comics", hosted by experienced comics creator and publisher Don Chin on his self-titled Youtube channel. We'll be talking comics this Wed Feb 24 at noon Eastern Standard Time (or 9 am Pacific).

Don Chin is the king of parody comics: he achieved major success in the 1980s with Adolescent Radioactive Blackbelt Hamsters (a TMNT parody), and has been active ever since with his titles on Parody Press. He's currently running an Indiegogo campaign for 'X-Farce: Reloaded', an X-men parody with art by Bill Maus. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/x-farce-reloaded-1#/

Tune in and say hello in the chat!

Great comic-related news: in between doing colorist jobs for a rather famous crowdfunded comic, our cover artist Jason is working on the 4th "Anti-Heroineburgh" character sticker. These character stickers (of which there are seven so far - this would be the 8th overall) display both the heroine and villainess rosters of Heroineburgh, and are free inserts inside every comic book sold at stores around the country or at Cons.

The sticker will debut at Three Rivers Comicon (probably the only Comicon to be held in Western PA in the spring, since the others
have all been postponed to the fall due to Governor Wolf's current 25% capacity rule) on May 22-23. The Con will be held outside,
under large and sturdy tents, in the parking lot of the Homestead Waterfront near New Dimension Comics.

We also have another new round of stores to add which are carrying Heroineburgh Issues #1 and #2:
Linebreakers Comics (Victorville CA)
Famous Faces and Funnies (West Melbourne FL)
Galactic Comics (Florence SC)
MyComicShop.com (Arlington TX) formerly known as Lone Star Comics
BAMF Comics & Coffee (Maitland FL)
Doombrowski's Comics (Winter Haven FL)
Benders Cards and Comics (Hampton VA)
Empire's Comics Vault (Sacramento CA)

And now for Jason's newest character drawings....

Meet sexy super-criminal Fenneca the Silver Fox! Penelope "Penny" Fuchs is part of a "second-story team" with her husband, Dwight (aka Canis the Hound). She's got super-strength, steely sharp claws, and many tricky gadgets, as well as the smarts to pull off daring thefts in broad daylight. She debuted in Heroineburgh Episode 13 (played by Lara), and escaped being captured by Frija, even though her partner was taken into custody. Fenneca will be returning to live action in Episode 2 (portrayed by new actress Tara) and will make her comics debut in Issue #3 to come out later this year.

Also on our new sticker is the energy succubus from another dimension...the malevolent Morphia. She has no secret identity, because she is a scientist from another universe who was trapped in Pittsburgh due to a quantum cryophysics experiment conducted by Dr. Greta Bjornsdottir (Arctica) and Dr. Katrina Spector (formerly Spectrina, now Dark Spectra) in Episode 6.
Morphia (played by Sam Ivy) escaped the confinement that the heroines built to contain her, and she has been hiding out in the shadows of the Steel City ever since. Since she needs energy to survive, she has been consuming the life forces of vagrants and drawing electrical power from transformers...Issue #2 of Heroineburgh Comics confirms that she often retreats to the Allegheny Cemetery graveyard to avoid the Heroine League. Later this year, actress Krissy will take over the role of Morphia as she exacts
revenge from Arctica and the other heroines for having trapped her in this alien dimension. Because she is from a different universe with different physics, the color of her costume keeps changing!!

Heroineburgh and our fellow Pittsburgh comics creator Marvin from The Edge (Issue #1 in stores now all over the US through Diamond)
both appeared this past week on SciFi4Me TV, a Youtube channel network run by the inimitable Jason Hunt. One of the most courteous, organized and professional Youtubers we've met!

Also...Ben Schwartz, the owner of Empire's Comics Vault in Sacramento, gave Heroineburgh a nice showcase in his new arrivals
of last week! Look for Heroineburgh #1 and #2 at 3:03 .

We added three new stores this week carrying both Heroineburgh issues. I think we'll be adding yet another one tomorrow in California, but I don't want to jinx it.

Superscript Comics (Lakewood, OH just outside Cleveland)
Spider's Web Comics (Yonkers, NY)
Olympic Comics (Lacey, WA just outside Olympia)

And finally, here are Jason Wright's completed comic book renderings of Dyna and Indarra! They'll go on our website soon, as well as
on the "Anti-Heroineburgh #4" stickers inserted in some of the comics.

We are continuing to kill it with these super-fun live streams. We continue to blow the minds of the "crowdfunding clique" on Youtube as we prove that you don't have to give up on direct market distribution: I'm selling direct to stores while Marvin from The Edge is going through Diamond, and we're both doing just fine (although we'll see what happens to Diamond now that Marvel has jumped ship). Although by no means do I have any problem with crowdfunding - I've backed over a dozen fun and sexy campaigns on both IndieGoGo and Kickstarter (not the least of which is the Arachna cosplay cover!).

Here's our appearance on Joe Catapano's channel. He's got a great crowdfund comic on IGG called Star Circuit - if you're into 1980s retro neon, street-bike racing, and androids, plus a helping of Akira, Tron, Bladerunner and Speed Racer, it should float your boat.
The "Lady Satan" comic, with whom we shared the spotlight, is by a UK creator named Lucifer Storm and features a stripper taking
revenge on her sex traffickers. He uses the name of the Golden Age character Lady Satan, but not the backstory.

Also, Jason has finished the "Anti-Heroineburgh #4" sticker which will be going in some of the next round of comics to be shipped out to stores. Here it is below. And we added three more outlets:

Comics, Cards & Brew (Cape Coral, FL online retailer)
Comic Warriors (Keller, TX in Dallas-FortWorth)
North Coast Roleplaying (Eureka, CA)
