This athlete has everything it takes to be a super heroine, plus no stuntwomen would be needed to replace her.

Just ran across this one and it reminded me of this thread...

The Strength of Samson
This weightlifter has a secret, and she is the reincarnation of the legendary figure Samson, whose amazing power all came from his long hair. As long as she keeps her hair long, she will have the strength of two women, but if she ever cuts it, or even just ties it up, she will lose that power.

Image
That’s why she has to lift with her hair covering her face, otherwise she would just be an ordinary mortal woman. It might be an unusual technique, but without it, this weightlifter would be like everyone else instead of the champion she is.

I like this idea, but instead of "..the strength of two women...", I would just make it so the long hair doubled her strength [or maybe "increases it (X amount) fold"?].
This would put it on her to stay as fit as possible, because this super power would simply be an augment of her natural strength.
....yeah, I like that idea. :bh:

Ran across this picture of US Olympic gymnast Jade Carey.
If you flip it sideways, it almost looks like she's flying.
If you flip it over, it looks like she's hold up the parking lot!
...Supergirl, anyone?

I highly appreciate all of the posts in this thread. In my opinion sportswear is essentially fetishwear with a logo slapped on it!
What's great is that athletes still wear the briefs/underpants style for a lot of activities which is sadly being phased out with superheroes now.

Yes, I agree. So many pole vaulters and high-jumpers (especially the European and South American variety, to me) struck me as tailor-made for the genre. Would love to see them (Michelle Jenneke for starters...thanks to whoever included her, above) in some of the films made by the producers on here, but that's likely pushing my luck. :smart:

To add to the the excellent Alysha Newman idea, above - so many nice possible additions to the genre in the realm of track & field (especially the pole vaulters). Would love to see some of these working with the producers on here...not sure how close to reality that would actually be. :D

I don't think I could be on a wrestling team because all I would think about is the ultimate surrender porn sites, I doubt they allow the winner to strap-on bang the loser.
That might up the attendance figures for the matches considerably!

In perviewing the many photos, the female wrestlers do not seem hot as female athletes in other sports, why is that?

Several reasons they may not be as hot:

1) The head gear. Hard to see what she actually looks like.
2) Mouth guards. They just aren't attractive.
3) Weight classes. Some in the lighter weight classes may look OK, but not so much in the upper weights.
4) The singlets don't look as good as a gymnastics leotard or the track and field Jockey wear.

The team photos as they don't have headgear and mouth guards also don't seem to show much. But, there are women playing supergirl who also do not have that Hot look for a Superheroine.

Yeah, she sure is something — gorgeous, strong, athletic.

She’s the protector of all things Kentucky. She just put drug dealers out of business in Louisville, and her next assignment is putting out moonshiners deep in the heart of Appalachia.

Hope our heroine is ready for her next exciting, but potentially perilous, adventure.

As much as everyone talks about Olivia Dunne, I like Elena Arenas even more.

And even more than that is KJ Johnson (the one on the left with Livvy).

From what I’ve read about her she kind of has a badass persona, not the kind of girl you’d expect to be a gymnast or wear leotards, which makes it even hotter that she wears them every day. If you saw Stick It, the type of girl Missy Peregrym played.
