Watched the first episode, Femina. Great animation, intricate world-building, steampunk aesthetic.

A kind of standard anime morality play: Rich oppressive bad guys at the top, crushing poor oppressed good guys underneath...kind of like Alita Battle Angel, etc. Add into that the "ragtag bunch of misfit kids" trope.

Those who appreciate the obvious mixing and clashing of science vs magic will revel in this series. It's not personally my bag, but I don't feel I wasted any time sampling the first episode.

Maybe if you had a bit more of a synopsis to begin with you could have made more of an informed choice... 😀

It's no problem - I was happy to try it. But as far as upcoming animated series with Strong Female Protagonists go, I think that
Blade Runner: Black Lotus looks like it'll be more my speed, and maybe for some others on here as well.
