Re: Agatha All Along (MCU 2024) - No Politics Please

Criminy! let's not drag undue baggage across the lines and snap at people for no reason or exclude them when they haven't broken the rules. It makes for a terribly vitriolic environment. Last I checked it was perfectly frikkin' harmless to theorize and discuss where the show might go with its chara...

Kaos

I finished watching Kaos last night. What a trippy show! I don't want to reveal much, but the basic premise is that the Gods of Olympus reign in this world, which is otherwise much like our own. The show is fairly sweeping, with a large cast of excellent actors. The tone wanders, on purpose, from hu...

Exactly none of the members of the coven are attractive. Well - one is (Sasheer Zamata) but they shaved her head to minimize the male gaze. So, unless you think Ayanna Pressley is attractive (to me, she literally looks like Charles Xavier ran for Congress) that's not gonna work, either. You are bas...

Actually, it's worse than just ignoring the constant political commenting by three particular members. I've been threatened with being banned for trying to fight back against their nonsense. Well there we have it. Kaos created a world where ancient Greek Gods still dominate the globe, or at least "Krete." A fun, whimsical, high concept idea to base a limited series on. But quality gatekeeper and anti-postmodernism (read - too woke) warrior shevek pronounced the program unworth...

I like to use the term modern to mean "present day." If I want to refer to a historical artistic movement that called itself Modern, I'll add the time period to the name, like "Mid-Century Modern" or "1930s Futurism." Or I'll find a more specific term like Streamline M...

Logan really was accurately telling people's futures, but some competitor got jealous and set him up. Gotta be. ...

It's a decision individuals have to make on a case by case basis. Do you still listen to Bill Cosby comedy routines? Do you still enjoy R. Kelly's music? Different strokes. I'll say this though, Logan's "shortcomings" are far more than perceived.

It'd be nice if someone reported what percentage of this video is devoted to strangulation. Much as I love this actress and some of her previous videos, Blue's return to mostly choking vids a few years back means I'd never buy this unless I had assurances that it isn't dominated with strangulation.
