Supergirl vs. Zatanna Parts 1 & 2 (Anastasia Pierce Productions)

[Doctor Outcome]

Plot: Supergirl receives a distress signal from an unknown source that someone may be in danger and flies down to investigate where she traces the signal to an ominous-looking dungeon. While waiting patiently she is joined by the lovely mistress of magic herself, Zatanna, who offers her assistance to Supergirl.

Supergirl tells Zatanna that this could be a trap and Zatanna doubts that greatly. However, what Supergirl doesn’t know is that this is indeed a trap…and odds are her captor could be standing right in front of her!

Prognosis Breakdown (Subject is in terminal condition):

*sigh* Ya’ know, after watching this superheroine porn parody (both parts of it), trying to list what was good about it will be almost difficult because it is chock full of cons that really dampen the quality of the production.

-For starters, maybe it’s just me I don’t know, but I don’t think Anastasia did her homework on the character Zatanna well enough. I mean, she got the costume right, but that’s about it. For some reason she’s turned Zatanna into a rogue character with no real explanation as to why Zatanna has turned bad (which is a shame because I like Zatanna, next to Wonder Woman and a few other female heroines).
Also, I don’t think Anastasia knows that Zatanna is suppose to say her ‘magic chants’ backwards. Plus, Anastasia spends a great deal of the first couple of minutes just moving around the set while speaking (maybe it keeps her in character while she says her lines) but that just seemed a little erratic at times for me.
Anastasia tried to give a good performance but just like her Catwoman portrayal when she faced off against Batwoman (Kendra James) it come off as hammy. Sure she looked like she was enjoying herself but she wasn’t staying in character well enough.
-The whole thing with the magic hat routine, while fun and added spice to the story just seemed a little out of place. Supergirl doesn’t once question why Zatanna is playing games when they should be investigating the facility and finding out who made that phony distress signal.

-This is my first time seeing Allie Rae in action after hearing so many good things about her. In this story though, her Supergirl persona is relegated to being a damsel in distress rather than a superheroine in action. The way the story is written, Allie’s character isn’t even given a fighting chance, much less a moment to shine and I felt bad for her character throughout this production because she gets put through a lot of abuse at Zatanna’s hands. Not to mention the fact that Supergirl blindly fell into Zatanna’s trap so easily.
Allie tries to toughen up a little bit by letting Zatanna know that she’ll ‘get hers’ eventually, but even that threat alone doesn’t spook Zatanna at all.
-The part where Anastasia puts Allie under a trance was poorly done (specifically with that ‘Twilight Zone’ music playing in the background). That part didn’t make me say ‘oh no’, instead is had me laughing and saying ‘WTF?’
-Supergirl had ropes on her hands but with her super-strength, shouldn’t she have been able to break free the moment she pulled her hands out of the hat?

-Some of the fetishes they chose for this just didn’t seem to get my juices amped up: a kryptonite dildo (oh, good grief), flogging and so forth. The spanking part was somewhat good, but that part alone isn’t enough to save the story.

-Then in Part 2 there’s mention of Powergirl. I thought that would be the saving grace for the movie: boy, how wrong I was. Powergirl isn’t shown until the last two or three minutes of the movie and during that part, Supergirl tries to brawl with her and Powergirl is forced to defend herself!
(But hey, being subjected to torture at a former comrade’s hands would be enough to turn any superheroine against another when it’s hard to know who to trust).

-The flight scenes were a great idea, but I don’t think they were implemented too well. Something about the way Anastasia and Allie were shown during those shots looked a little odd, like they were stiff as a board or something.
-The ending to this story, while good, leaves too many unanswered questions. Like one, why did Zatanna turn rogue and where did she disappear off to? Will Powergirl and Supergirl make an attempt to go after her or will they report what happened to the League so they can apprehend Zatanna and find out what’s going on?

*sigh* So many unsolved mysteries and no real answers behind them.

Final Outcome

After seeing Anastasia’s portrayal as Scarlet Witch, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt by watching Supergirl vs Zatanna but I must say, this production didn’t meet the standards that I was hoping for. I haven’t given up on Anastasia yet as she has done some pretty interesting work but here…this one left me in the dark.

Final Score for ‘Supergirl vs Zatanna’: 2 ½ out of 10.
Odds of patient recovering from this ‘crash and burn’: very slim.

My Poor Doctor Outcome, You and I are so NOT a good match. I am very thankful that you are watching my productions and taking the time to critic them but we have such different taste. That's a sure thing.

For starter all my productions have some kind of sex elements - that's what I enjoy, that's what I do. And that is usually what my viewers enjoy. S E X . No matter what the story, I will find some kind of angle to sneak in that sex element. Erotica is always on top of my list, no matter what the situation, no matter what characters.

Now my turn, here are my critics on your critics:

#1 Kryptonite Dildo - absolutely! I know many people have enjoyed watching poor innocent, helpless Supergirl get screwed by the villain. Her innocence taken away. Her fresh, young, perfect look - disgraced. That's a 10 in my book.
And yes, it does turn me on. My perverted mind finds this perfectly acceptable and especially very enjoyable.


#2 Modifying Zatanna's character so she is now Rogue - absolutely! I believe in making twists and adding to existing characters. Why not? If it's not in a comic book it can't happen? Why shouldn't I make up something new? And as to why she went Rogue. Maybe I want to keep that for a separate episode, and cover it later. I am not done with that Sexy Character. I like her.

#3 Zatanna's spell backwards - Yes I know that's how she works her magic. It works on paper when the reader can see the words. It doesn't work for video. It sounds like gibberish and will only confuse the viewer. People minds don't understand backward talk. So I am not doing it. Instead she does magic.

#4 My performance being hammy - always! That's my personality. I am like a soap opera actress of the Super Heroine world. I exaggerate everything. Some actress show no emotions and are flat on film. I am on the opposite of the spectrum. I find it entertaining and fitting with who I am. And viewers are constantly writing me for more loud evil laughs, sadistic grins and over the top performances. I am not going to change who I am. I am expressive. Deal with it.

#5 The most IMPORTANT, you did not even mention the SPECIAL EFFECTS. Did you notice that my super-heroines were flying?
I spent a good amount of time, creating this from scratch. But that seems to have flown right by you...

Final score of your critic - 1 out of 10. You miss the ball on that one!

I am one tough cookie who enjoys what she shoots. I am 100% invested in every projects.

My verdict: Fine, you didn't like it but 1000 other viewers did. We are simply not a good match.

I am also entitled to give my own opinion on my videos and have the right to defend them, when they are not portrayed under the right light in a review. Like I felt it was the case this time. His review felt like being at a shooting range at what I know is an excellent video that so many have watched and enjoyed. Perhaps I should post some of those positive reviews I received in private, here myself?

But what I was trying to say is that: I do realize that Doctor outcome does not like sex in videos, he has reviewed several of my videos and never liked that aspect. He always gives cons for that. I have never said anything before, but this time. I felt that I had to let him know that he would keep finding the same elements he does not appreciate in most of them. And that so many viewers DO ENJOY.

His reviews was made publicly so my answer had to be done the same way. I could have said something in private but I have nothing to hide. Other viewers needed to know what they would find in the video and why some elements were done a certain way (like avoiding the backwards spells of Zatanna).

It was a clarification and an explanation. NOT an attack. I never meant to sound offensive.
That is definitely not the tone I was hoping to get across.

My, my. It looks like I’ve just walked into a minefield and I don’t have my metal detector with me. LOL! But seriously, I think I’d better set the record straight first before I end up accidentally blowing my legs off.

Heroine Addict and helstar, I want to thank you both for coming to my defense. Helstar I know you said you can’t take sides and that’s okay, though I still appreciate that you and H.A. did that and I’m deeply honored.

‘His review felt like I was in a shooting range.’ LOL! I’m sorry Anastasia, I tried my hardest not to crack up at that comment and I take you 100 percent seriously as I write this response. I’m surprised that you think I’m that dangerous with my reviews, but I assure you, I’m harmless. I’m just a reviewcologist who wants to express herself and let people know what I think works and doesn’t work. (Plus, I’m female like you just for future reference).

First, let me say that this review was not meant to be a personal attack on your work whatsoever in any way, shape or form. I’m not stepping on your toes and if you felt that I did that, I apologize sincerely. I know I can be a little overzealous sometimes and I try not to be so cutthroat like I told one producer (Knights of Gotham). I critiqued his vid ‘Victorian Vampire meets Wonder Woman’ and he gave me the lowdown on why his production turned out the way that it did and he even saw the criticism as constructive and a chance to try something new with his future productions. When a producer or a fetish model does that, it tells me that they care sincerely about giving the fans what it is that they want to see and that they’re open to trying new ideas from their customers and will try to incorporate what they suggest in their next production.

Also, the main thing I look for in a response with a producer is what they had to work with, what they could do, what they couldn’t do, what they plan to do for future productions and if possible, what they’d like to see from the fans, etc. as this helps me to try and keep an open mind for my reviews. It’s like that group Information Society said, ‘I want to know…what you’re thinking.’

Next: I think you’re a fantastic performer (the reviews I did on ‘Scarlet Witch versus Batwoman’ and ‘Dr. Ether versus Wonder Woman’ are proof of that). Now if you have your own method for portraying a particular character (heroine or villainess), then hey, roll with it homegirl, I’ll stand behind you 100 percent. But it’s also important that you try to mimic as much of the character’s original behavior and personality portrayed in the comics or the cartoons as much as possible. The crowd will really applaud you if they feel you made an effort to recapture the essence of the character you’re portraying. You say some actresses are no emotion and are flat on film? That’s not entirely true (your co-stars Kendra, Miss Carter and a handful of other people that you’ve worked with are proof of that). And you make beautiful music when you’re with them, I guarantee it.

Also, I did mention the special effects earlier. I wrote: ‘The flight effects were a good idea’ but I felt that they weren’t implemented right. But now that I know that you created that part on your own, I’m willing to back down a little on that particular con that I listed in my review.

Another thing: as a fetish reviewer and superhero fan, I have specific tastes for particular fetishes the same as you and just because we’re different doesn’t mean we can’t have a connection. Some of the fetishes that you utilize do work for me, others that you use may not. I never said that I ‘didn’t like sex’ in these vids because for me that’s the icing on the cake. I just feel that there needs to be a specific scenario that leads up to the heroine being defeated and taken advantage of. It just feels bland to me that the heroine gets taken down so easily without so much as a struggle or a fight. When you did ‘Scarlet Witch versus Batwoman’, you and Kendra totally cut loose on each other with the fists and feet. That made me smile because you showed that Scarlet Witch's freedom was on the line , so she wasn’t going down without a fight and even though she got caught, she still turned the tables on Batwoman. Long story short, if the villainess wants the pleasure of sexually humiliating the heroine, they’ve gotta work for it. The heroine won’t lie down so easily without some resistance…if the story says so, they’re gonna fight back with everything they’ve got and you have to be ready to do the same.

Also, the heroine can turn the situation around and put the villainess through the same humiliation that they put the heroine through if they desire (your colleague Kendra James has done it before playing Batwoman). Remember, the story doesn’t have to end with the heroine getting ‘dishonored’ and left humiliated like a lot of productions have done before. It’s better if you play with the outcome sometimes the same way you would in a W.O.W. wrestling match. It’s kind of like that music group the Cars said… ‘SHAKE IT UP!’

Finally: I was totally unaware that you were doing all of these productions on your own and for that, I have an even greater deal of respect for you, Miss Pierce. I know it must be tough doing this stuff with no backup of any kind and now that I know this, I’ll try not to be so cutthroat in the future.

Again Anastasia, I apologize if I was being overzealous with this review and I wasn’t attempting to attack your work. I just hope you’ll acknowledge that I was being truthful and honest and that it was nothing personal on my part at all. I just feel that you’ll establish better ground with your fans if you find out what their fetishes are and try to work towards incorporating other elements that they suggest to see if it works with any productions that you create in the future.
