As I contemplate my mixed feelings towards the peril videos that try to straddle the line between being a fetish video and something that could pass for a normal Fan Film. (Like calling your video a director's cut of the 1984 Supergirl).

I also think about the one trend of Fan Fiction that never to seems make it into Fan Films, Slash Shipping. Especially ships will likely never be made canon.

Example, my favorite Ship involving Western Comic Book characters is StephCass (Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain).

Oh, and the tabloids of the DCU world suspect Robin and Batgirl are a couple, so this works whether or not the villainess knows anyone's true identity.

Steph and Cass fight the urge to give in, but eventually succumb and start making out with each other and they are brought to orgasm multiple times. And the villainess laughs evilly at her victory.

I included heroine/sidekick elements in my own To Catch a Vigilante: KnightWoman. Also, Doctor Outcome and Star's Ada Knight: Orgasms are Forever has villainess/henchwoman elements.

Most of the fetish videos don't really have the type of ongoing narrative required to make shipping work. They're usually self-contained stories lasting around thirty minutes. Although the suggested one-off scenario of heroines being put together and giving in to their desire for each other would be effective. Also, some of the ongoing non-porn series such as Next Global Crisis could probably include a girl/girl storyline fairly easily.

With that sort of fan service, the trick is to deliver what the shippers want while also delivering a video that would still make perfect sense to a newcomer or casual fan. The moment you present past continuity as "required reading", you lose the casual audience. Which, with videos that only sell a few hundred units, is not good for business.

I'm not saying fan service is a bad idea, just that it can't be done in a way that excludes non-fans.

It seems like occasionally some of those Japanese videos are going for a Yuri vibe, but it's hard to tell since I don't know Japanese and am usually going off trailers. Like the second Astro girl, or some of those with the Heroine based on La Seine no Hoshi.

This is a prime example of a story needing custom.
Producers don not under any circumstances like to gamble with their income, especially when so much of it has been crippled by sharing and piracy.
A producer isn't going to break out of his norm unless it can be shown that there is profit in it.
Sometimes whats required to jumpstart a trend is a custom.

It doesn't always work, but in a case lie this its whats called for.

When the producer releases this custom he will see wether there is call for future productions depending on the sales.

Personally I think this would sell, but I'm not going to gamble on my hunch when so much of our productions end up getting traded on forum boards and given away for free on tube sites.

If you want this done pay to have it made.
if the producer sees a spike in sales you can guarantee its going to be made frequently which would make you estate I'm sure.

Depending on how long a video you want it and just how much erotic sexitime is needed it shouldn't cost too much more than standard cost.

heres hoping because from experience the only way thats going to happen is if many people step up to say they would buy it. The producer might be willing to take the risk but he would have to be having a strong gut feeling to book three female models for a day hoping to at least break even.

Maybe if enough people are interested you all could go into a custom together (although that raises another set of problems)
