Invisible Woman/Sue Storm - why no clips?

It seems to me that there's a general bias towards DC characters and a lot of the Marvel characters get neglected. Why is this?

My particular favourite to put into situations of erotic (mis)adventure is Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman. She is an incredibly hot, sophisticated morally upright heroine, but she has a dark side - Malice! The possibilities for porn are obvious, but clips of her seem virtually nonexistent. All it would take would be a blue spandex bodysuit with a '4' emblem on the chest.

Come on, producers! I'm sure there would be a market for this.

I would love to see her feature in something like Prinal's 'Dark Addiction' series. To see an evil villain dose the proud heroine, wife and mother with a fiendish sex drug would be awesome. She would be forced to debase herself to get more of the drug, becoming more and more willing and co-operative as the clip went on, sucking and fucking enthusiastically by the end and agreeing to bring down her team-mates and become a slutty villainess. I'd pay to see that!

The answer, I'm afraid, is both easy and rather depressing. Even superhero(ine) porn isn't primarily aimed at hardcore comic-book geeks, but people who get their cape-and-tights fix from TV and movies (live-action TV and movies, I should specify; cartoon porn is its own niche that usually doesn't cross over with flesh-and-blood porn). DC ruled that particular roost for decades, enough that '66 Batgirl and '77 Wonder Woman are still the "trendsetters" as far as most geeks of porn-buying age are concerned.

(Supergirl's popularity is an interesting variation, which I believe is fueled more by gender-swapping the iconic Kryptonite scene from Superman '78 than any fascination with the actual Supergirl movie, which is both obscure and by all accounts a pile of shit.)

Now, with Marvel taking the initiative from the mid-aughts onward, this might have changed... except Marvel already sold off the Fantastic Four and the X-Men (the franchises with its most iconic heroines) rights to third-party studios that can barely put a dent in the MCU. The MCU itself isn't really big on the heroine front - all they've got is Black Widow (which is kinda pushing the term; are we going to call James Bond a superhero next?) and... I dunno, Scarlet Witch?

(I stopped watching the MCU after Winter Soldier - did Wanda ever make it to full Avenger?)

Of course, all is not lost... we'll see what directions the genre takes after Captain Marvel finally makes it to the screen...

I agree that Sue's absence is mostly due to a poor showing in live action. I personally had no issue with the Fantastic Four movie in 2005- but that had a lot to do with Jessica Alba walking around in skintight spandex aha. In all honesty though, we got some fun moments with her powers especially when she stripped down while invisible and ended up rematerializing in front of everyone in her bra and panties and then nude in the sequel. Granted it was played for laughs both times but Alba looked damn good and it's the kind of scene we'd never see outside of the SHiP genre these days I fear. I'd imagine there has to be potential to mine those scenes and the invisibility power in general for humiliation/peril. Again though, until a better live-action version of Sue hits the big screen, I do agree it's a tougher sell than the more traditional DC heroines. Much as I badly want to see it.

Yeah, i thought those movies were OK. They just lacked the scope that the FF needs. Maybe Fox will follow Sony and let them become part of the MCU, and we'll get a decent reboot one day.

I liked Alba but she wasn't quite right for Sue Storm, in my opinion. Still, I'd have loved to see her do the Malice storyline in a third film. We can dream!

I suspect the main reason for the SH fetish genre being dominated by a handful of DC icons is the Risk/Reward ratio of using lower-tier characters. Producers take a risk on parodying Batgirl, Supergirl and Wonder Woman because the rewards of using those names outweigh the risk of legal action from DC. With a character like Sue Storm, however, the sales generated by that name are unlikely to justify the risk of a cease and desist order from Marvel's lawyers. The producer might as well create their own character and own 100% of the rights.

The same goes for discussions where people cite a dodgy blog which claims Golden Age characters are in the public domain. Hardly any superheroines are truly PD. Meaning that the producer is taking a risk in using an "orphaned" character which could still be claimed by the rightful heirs. Meanwhile, most of those dubious "Public Domain" characters have almost zero name recognition. So there's no real advantage to using them at all. Again, the producer might as well just make up their own character and own 100% of the rights.

Anastasia did Phoenix and a female Captain America. Kearstin did Jean Grey. There's been multiple Black Cats and Ms Marvels (90s costume) and Elektras (Nyxon did a good one) and Black Widows and Daggers by a bunch of different producers. Primal and Ms. Jennifer Blaze did Jessica Jones (I also saw one with Jewel, I forget who did that). Primal did parodies of Wasp, Diamondback, another female Cap, and a few others I think. And everyone forgets She-Hulk: the number of transformation videos has been steady from various sources. I agree we need more Scarlet Witch in our lives. We need more Gamora too..with the extreme popularity of GotG there's no reason not to.

I agree: Sue Storm is in principle incredibly hot. Simply force Reed to watch as Victor Von imperils her, and you've got a solid plot. But she is one heroine I think producers just forget about a lot because she's part of the Fantastic Four and not recognized as a solo character. You'd think that one thing Marvel would do for female empowerment would be to de-emphasize the FF guys and give Sue Storm her own comicbook mini-series or something. Raven, Starfire, Mockingbird, Kitty Pryde and others have had their own miniseries but never Sue. I think that would be a great thing to lobby them about on Twitter. The more popularity her character has, the more likely she will be popular in parody.

It is rather interesting that the majority of superheroine vids out there do center around the three heroines of DC : Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Batgirl. I can only speak for myself : I enjoy Wonder Woman type characters that get tied up and placed in peril. Always have, always will. I do feel that might have to do with 2 things: the 70's tv show growing up (same with Yvonne Craig as Batgirl from re-runs of the 60's Batman show) and with the 'weaknesses' that can be exploited as well: Wonder Woman's belt, Batgirl's utility belt, Supergirl and kryptonite.

Susan Storm, and the rest of the Marvel U, can be done. She can be captured and twisted/turned into her alter-ego Malice and set loose upon the rest of the Marvel world. Effects can be done as well - I've seen superheroine Darling within a force field that shrunk on her, forcing her to her knees bending backwards and trying to hold the force field back as it collapsed. Not the normal stuff, but it was hot. Don't forget, in the comic book lore, Invisible Woman took down She-Hulk (when Shulkie was on the team). With writing, imagination, and some effects a story can be done. Other characters at Marvel can be done: The X-Women Storm, Rogue, Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost, Psylocke, Jean Grey (the latter 3 you can write a mental projection overload between them or affecting the other X-Women). The Urban crew: Elektra, Black Cat, Dagger, Silver Sable. Also individuals like She-Hulk (the problem here is you really need an athletic build for this one),Ms. Marvel, and Spider-Woman (tied to a chair like the comic book cover or caught in her own webbing, using her pheromone powers), Scarlet Witch (if she's really tied down she can't use magic - see Vision & Scarlet Witch limited series).

In the end, producers have to go with what sells to the audience. It seems to me that the majority of 'custom requests' or sales out there are still for the three heroines of DC. Even in their stables, anyone requesting a Hawkgirl vid being made? How about Aquagirl?.....didn't think so. Videos are being made with characters other than the normal DC 3, perhaps the sales or interest is too small to pursue.

With the news that Disney have bought Fox, and the announcement that the Fantastic Four will become part of the MCU in future, I'm looking forward to a proper reboot for the FF which will hopefully be closer in spirit to the comics.

I also hope they'll get the casting right for Susan Storm! My vote goes for Shantel Vansanten. I think she has the perfect look for the Invisible Woman, and seems to be a pretty good actress too.
