I'm one of the club members who did not get a chance to get the previous release within the (undefined) window of availability because I travel for work/family frequently (I posted in the previous thread about it.) I saw the release email for the new one earlier this weekend, but was again traveling until today, so I couldn't buy the package. Anyway, the member email said it would be available "until at least 11:00 pm EST on Wednesday, October 25th" so I figured there was no problem.

So, now I'm back home and find that not only is the club "terminated" for reasons unclear, the member package that was supposed to be available until Wednesday is no longer available (the link in the email is dead.)

I actually bought the last "member release" video belatedly, without the club perks and at regular price, because I wanted to support Blue and his product, but won't be doing so again. As competent and professional as I find his materials to be, they've all started to run together for me. The extras included with the members packages were an important part of keeping me interested in his releases. Without that, I'm not getting the new one.

Not to mention the fact that the member email said the package would be available for two more days. Sure, the membership club didn't involve a financial commitment, so Blue doesn't literally owe me anything. I just don't want to reward such mercurial behavior.

Well, I wouldn't call it 'mercurial behavior'. Firstly, because of complaints from the last members' release, I offered this one for a full week before the public release, to give all members a chance to download it, but if you think that I'm going to allow pirates and file-sharers to download it, you're sorely mistaken. Once the club was breached by those lowlifes, I pulled the plug on the club and the related club release, just as I had stated that I would when this club was formed. There was nothing 'mercurial' about it. It was part of the deal right from the start. All blame should be placed exactly where it belongs... squarely on the shoulders of the pirates and file-sharers who are slowly killing this community's producers. You're right, you paid nothing for your membership... and I'm not looking for a 'reward', whatever that means. Do you think you'd be doing me a favour by buying a video from me? Get real! When I have some profits to count, I'll consider it a reward. Until then, it is simply a contribution towards the continuation of this line of videos. If you don't want them to continue, then keep on laying the blame on the producer as opposed to on the file-sharers and pirates who are the real villains in this tragedy.

For those who appreciate and support the Bluestone Superheroine video line, we will be shooting three more videos in November, and hopefully one by the end of the year. As for 2018, if the small minded attitude demonstrated above is any indication of the 'reward' that I'm going to receive for continuing to produce these quality videos, I may simply let the file-sharers and pirates have their victory.
