There are many occasions where generic or conventional porn will spark creative ideas for use in my stories. Particular poses that I find sexy I have translated into words. Certain outfits generate possible costume concepts. It's rare that any dialogue is good enough to borrow but every once in a while a certain turn of phrase will catch my ear. So, yes, for me generic porn can be one stimulus that launches an idea for either a heroine, a villain or a moment worth enlarging upon.
