2018 has finally come to an end, and I really enjoyed this year for SHIP. Many amazing videos were released this year. Tropic City Heroines and Primal Fetish released the first two hardcore interracial SHIP scenes in four years with Supergirl Vs. Pussy Bandit and Black Lightning - Captured and Drained by Livewire. I cannot forgot Kendra Jame's hot girl/girl(futa) video of Romancing the futa stone! I almost forgot to mention Nightwing and Batwoman - Enslaved Sluts to the Mindflayer XXX. If you love hardcore videos, then you MUST buy this video.
Damien Woods of SHL continued his Uninvited series. Fan favorite Ashley Lane is now doing hardcore videos, and has at least two hardcore superheroine scenes coming in the future. Alex Coal has prove herself to be the most versatile actress in SHIP.
What are the best SHIP productions of 2018?
Re: What are the best SHIP productions of 2018?
I liked Paradox Reaction. Mia Malkova's performance was quite nuanced, invoking a degree of tragic loss and sympathy for the heroine not often delivered in the genre. Easily my favorite of the year.
I liked Pristine -- an eco-heroine flick with messy consequences and Lexi Belle's adorable widow's peak.
I liked seeing performers from outside the niche bring their special sauce (e.g. Ariel X)... almost as much as I liked seeing Halsey Rae and her magical hair-flip in four productions.
I liked that Lucia Films pushed the envelope with dramatic lighting and camera work, even if it made me adjust my display settings, and I really like that they gave us a tentacle monster *and* a classic literature feel in the same production.
But what I liked best about 2018 was that a lot of familiar studios and familiar performers were still putting out high-quality content catering to many different sub-genres, styles, and interests. Just because it's not my favorite thing doesn't mean it isn't good for the genre and good for the community.
I hope to see more of the same things, and more new things, in 2019. And I wish everyone in the business both satisfaction and success.

I'm not saying that it's the best, but I am very happy and proud to have completed my second superheroine custom - Liberty Star : Heroine Hunter - and it turned out rather well. The only purpose for me personally to do it really was to 'prove myself as a writer'. I think people that have viewed it enjoyed it for the most part.
Aside from my own, I very much enjoyed Rancor with Ariel X. The lady is new to the genre (I believe) and did a fantastic job. Ariel has an sexy, athletic physique that was fantastically on display with the unique setting / atmosphere have having the character of Wonder Woman endure tests of strength while tied up. I've have not seen Rancor 2 as of yet, but I do want to buy it.
I have also been getting into Layla Rylan's work as Sonique this past year.
It's great to see fan favorite studios still turning out great work - please have continued success. We love what you do. I would also like to see a couple of performers outside the genre that have given it a try this past year, like Ariel X and Sahrye, continue to be in the genre. Also, perhaps some first timers would be good.
- call me 'the guy that advised Tarkin to evacuate before the Death Star blew up.'

There are many great ones, but I recall from earlier this year this won me over for best concept/best execution, starring Amy Fantasy and Krisa Kouture.

Lucia Films is the best new producer.
Valik ended the year on a high note by making Heroine Peril available again, on C4S.
Heroinehunter, pardon me, but I do believe that Enchantress Sahrye has a long and rich history in SHIP.

Count me in as another fan of Rancor starring Ariel X. The video had it all from a sexy heroine, sadistic villain, and sexier perils for our babe to go through. You could actually see Ariel herself needing to use her own fantastic muscles to pose for some of these perils. The trap where she is strapped to a pulley system and supporting dumbbells while knives/guns train down on her key spots was highly inventive. Definitely a special video that doesn’t come around that often.
I’d also vote for Amy Fantasy’s She-Ra series. Definitely don’t see that character used often enough and Amy looked fantastic as the Princess of Power, really selling the peril of her capture and exposure to the tentacle beast well.
