Jennifer Garner in “Daredevil”

I remember this was one of my earliest memories of feeling confusedly excited when Jennifer Garner was defeated and in peril during “Daredevil”. I had no idea at the time why I had reacted in this way, and it left me puzzled and slightly guilty.

Anyone felt the same way when you first saw the movie in theatres? Was this your first introduction to a heroine in peril?

Well, sadly no mask (like in most comics) but yeah, Jennifer Garner in that black leather costume... was/is certainly something to see :-)
The main reason I will always defend the movie against the haters...

I saw her in moral peril in the follow up Elekra movie

Yes she supposidly killed by Bullseye, but the peril and fights were better in Elekra

People forget: this was a *successful* movie in a time when the MCU didn't exist, and Daredevil was an obscure character. Sure, the follow-up was terrible, but Garner was still hot in it.

I'm wondering if you posted this partially in anticipation for Garner appearing as Elektra in Deadpool 3 in May. I'm really wondering if they will put her back in that tight costume at the age of 51, or if she'll just serve some sort of 'consultant' role as her character.

On a side note it in interesting that Affleck first played a character that Marvel modeled or stole the idea from D.C and than played the DC character
