Although the genre is going through a rough patch despite Deadpool and Wolverine
Who has not been used that would be good. My criteria even if the movie was horrible can't be considered.
D.C. Black Canary, Starfire
Marvel Spiderwoman, Black Cat
Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
Black Cat is the only of the four you've listed who has technically not ever been in live action yet (although 'Spiderwoman' was only about a minute in costume) other than fan films. Not sure why it's important whether it's a 'movie' or TV? Just has to look good and be well characterized. I mean, Benoist looked incredible and has clearly ascended to icon status, and she was never on a movie screen.
I would like to see:
- Zatanna! A TV series.
- Adrienne Palicki as live-action Mockingbird in the actual Mockingbird costume (not Bobbi Morse of SHIELD).
- Any hot pop singer as Dazzler. Not so keen on Taylor Swift at this point (which was a rumor) but we'll take what we can get, she'd certainly look great in that white jumpsuit.
- A decent Huntress. Considering that the two versions of Helena so far have not been that great, with Winstead's just being abjectly terrible.
- Doctor Light. They tried it on the Flash, but I would actually love to see her be Japanese (in the show, she was weirdly half-Korean in order to 'combine' her somehow with the Linda Park character?) and what was up with that stupid Power Rangers helmet.
- sexy Gotham villainesses who haven't been used in live-action like White Rabbit or Punchline
- Jessica Cruz. She has been absolutely gorgeous in the comics but the brief version of her in Stargirl fell very flat.
- actual hot Clea in actual Doctor Strange content.
- a proper Titania, not that travesty. And her friend Volcana along with her. Unfortunately I think that terrible She-Hulk series destroyed any chances of that character coming back in the near future. Ugh.
- The Engineer, Swift, and Jenny Sparks, all from The Authority (is a movie actually coming??)
For that matter, superheroines from great indie comic book series that haven't been adapted yet.
The whole Jay Faerber Noble Causes/Dynamo 5 universe is one of my favorites. It's full of family drama and soap opera stuff, but also lots of
great battles in tight spandex, and multiple beautiful heroines (Scrap, Zephyr, and so on)
So many more I can't think of right now, might as well cut it off there.

Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
Let’s start with DC’s Batgirl... seriously, how has she not had her own movie yet?
As for Marvel: Black Cat, baby!
Especially with some of the bland Phase 4 characters they pushed. Talk about a missed opportunity...
She was great in the latest Spider-Man game, though a little too PG friendly for my tastes.
But eh, devs have to keep things... ‘family-friendly,’ right?"

Songbird. Not sure if she's be in the Thunderbolts movies. Zatanna, just really.
Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
Marvel has a Black Canary? Seems like that name is already taken. I'm surprised D.C. was okay with it. Unless this is a red herring. But who would be genius and diabolical enough to try such a thing?
Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
I think Black Cat was intended.

Batgirl, Batwoman (+Batwoman: Batman Beyond version), Batgirl, Huntress, Batgirl, Stargirl, Batgirl, Spoiler (full mask), Batgirl, Canary ....oh... and Batgirl!
Spider-girl , Spider-woman, Spider-Gwen, Silk (animated movies and especially Madame Web don't count for "real" movies ;-) )
....+ basically every other female character with a decent mask that I didn't think of ;-)

Not to nitpick but two criteria
1 Movies
2 Even if bad, if the character was already used. Batgirl has been done very poorly by Alicia Silverstone

I wonder whether in 5-10 years we will still see Melissa Benoist's Supergirl as memorable or iconic. I suspect the majority of folks will have largely forgotten about her.shevek wrote: ↑1 year agoBlack Cat is the only of the four you've listed who has technically not ever been in live action yet (although 'Spiderwoman' was only about a minute in costume) other than fan films. Yeah, technically ... ok.
But that doesn't count for me, it's not even Barbara Gordon.
So, you could say... she plays a Batgirl... but not THE Batgirl.

Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
I would like to see Firestar, The Enchantress and the American Dream from marvel. For DC I would like to see Power Girl, Fire and Ice, Lady Blackhawk, Shado and acurate versions of Black Canary and Batgirl
Also Jessica Drew's Spider Woman and Silk. I think they would make great live action characters

For Marvel, Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew), Silk, Moonstone & Songbird. I could add Darkstar & Thundra, too.
For DC, I like to see Star Sapphire (Carol Fernis), Power Girl, Jade, Queen Bee (Zazzala), & Giganta
I wouldn't mind to see Soranik Natu & Caitlin Fairchild, too.

Just a man who loves powerful ladies in skintight spandex. Tight is right.
Re: Superheroines who have not been used in a movie
Rumor of a solo Scarlet Witch movie:
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/sca ... 51032.html
Maybe Marvel is willing to do more featuring women besides the Black Widow movie. A few successful ones would make it easier to get the less famous ones making appearances. The failure of Madame Web set us back because people didn't want to see her origin story, but costumed women kicking men which was only a few minutes of a future vision.
