Being able to run this for free is cool. I'm sure the free beta won't last long. Video generation seems to be all the rage, but I think it's way too early, all the models suffer from similar problems (they can only do short videos where essentially nothing happens, and they fall into deformities and overall breakage way too often, they require many tries despite being expensive and slow, etc).

I just created a throw away one, they have now changed to 3 days of unlimited generations for new accounts.

I created an extra gmail account for work. The problem was they wanted a phone number for verification and they only let you run x-number of accounts per number. I couldn't verify it and couldn't get rid of it. Turned into a pain in the ass.

Just keep language vague, use alternative language for more sketchy terms, and note that having the exact same prompt can pass or not depending on the end result so try multiple times (if it does fail it won't count towards your 3 free generation just try again).

You're safe for a while. Today I generated 100 images for a project I'm working on... Out of the 100, I managed to scrap 4 (and probably end up using only one ) and got at least 40 of those f**ks:



Now, you'd probably assume I was going for some kinky shit or whatever, but nononono... a fookin' leg kick.

Like, a leg kick isn't safe, but I've scrolled through some posts, and they've got legit pedo stuff on the site I'm using, but I guess that's cool. Women fighting? Must be a deviant of the highest caliber...

And that's just the image part. The video is where things go nuts. Getting a reference image is hard enough, but making the AI understand what you want and working around all the nonsense in the code... is enough to make your blood pressure spike. (Not even kidding.)

I think we need to get out of this moral clusterfuck we find ourselves in these days before we can seriously think about how AI and tech can take over. Trust me, your audience isn’t going to get a kick out of two women lying 25 inches apart in a bed during what's supposed to be a sensual scene.

Anyway, if I don't die in the making, there's some cool stuff on the way that I'll hopefully share soon. (It's all in the hands of my heart.)

I'm not sure any random Joe will have what it takes to top you, SHL, Lucia, CC, or anyone else for that matter. They can try, and they might achieve something really cool, but it'll b a long way to even get close to one of the most recent productions.

And the thing with open technologies? They never stay open for long. Someone will lock that shit down one way or another, whether it's the legislator or the owner.

I say it often, but we should always support our favorite producers by buying content from their stores. Otherwise, in 10 years, we'll all be wanking to images of women lying 25 inches apart from each other.

If anything, I think AI will end up helping you more than anything: it's just not up to scratch for fetish content but you pretty much able right now to have some nice visual achieved for clips.

This is merely a tease but I hope to be able to showcase what I mean, and show off some actual cool stuff like very soon...

I've essentially abandoned Ideogram due to this insanity. Excellent model, runs fast, and has the best prompt adherence currently available, but all that doesn't matter when 75% of the time the model doesn't work. The censorship doesn't even make sense, because it's not even about sexuality, it's about being 'offensive', whatever that means. It's all a huge clusterfuck of vague ideas, feelings, and political slogans.

The same thing happened to me some time ago with Midjourney. Amazing images, but insane censorship.

If anything, I'd say kink/porn producers are not only safe, but they will also be the only ones to survive.

I totally agree with you, I just did not gave up totally on Ideogram for the very reasons you laid out: prompt adherence and Image quality are essential for what i'm trying to achieve at the minute, and despise its flaws, it is a great tool to generate beautiful reference images for Hailuo.

And let me tell ya, I’ve spotted some seriously messed-up content on Ideogram. The worst I seen was a very young person not standing in a very compromising position.

I'm open to the concept that I'm a forsaken pervert that will rot in hell, but am I wrong to think that tits are safer than a k*d s**king on a f**t?

I get that there need to be some limits, legal stuff and all that. Copyrights can be a real pain in the neck, and I totally get why companies want to shield their precious models from drama.

But seriously, this neo-puritan shit? Creepy as f**k! Thank the gods for this forum!

I think think there are multiple hurdles for AI and kink/explicit material. For all the millions that were spent on development of the software, the point isn't to give it away for free and make money from ads. It is to make a salable product. They want serious money from advertisers to produce ads for companies like Nike or Meta. They want serious money from Disney and Nickelodeon to make children's programing and to be used in MCU films and DCU television shows. They don't want to their brands to be associated with porn or fetish. It's the same reason the porn gets kicked off of FaceBook, Instagram, TikTok, DA or any other platform. If they don't, porn takes over and it becomes a platform for porn. Eventually, someone will decide they want to become the PornHub of AI, even then they will set limits on what they'll allow.

The second problem is the ability to do anything that is compelling. Pulling all the elements together to make stories that are compelling to watch is going to be tough. The Batgirl image above is awesomely rendered, but she is just talking (with no words). A lot of current AI images, even the good one, tend to be very hollow. The heroine could just as easily be looking at grocery aisle as she is being lowered into a vat of kryptonite. Using AI to storyboard a scene, then block every movement, then animate it is going to be extremely laborious. Few artists are going to have the resources or patience to make it work and even fewer will become good at it. That's why the amount of animated porn, or any fetish material is so small.

There will be a generation or two of fetish models and producers before AI gets a chance living up to it's potential.
