There is a 6-part documentary (45 minutes each) about the Batman movies, especially the Burton movies (the best ones... of course).
It's "Icons Unearthed" , Season 6, 6 episodes
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21267394/e ... t_eps_sn_6
In Germany, the show gets shown with 2 episodes per week now on free-tv and it's called "Inside Batman".
Yeah.... sometimes a movie or show with an English name gets "translated" into another English title
I now have seen the first 4 episodes.
The first 2 episodes are about Batman (89).
The third episode is about "Batman Returns".
The fourth episode is about "Batman Forever" and "Batman & Robin".
So, you can see how they pronounce certain movies a lot more than others ;-)
There are 2 more episodes and they are about the Nolan movies (and more?).
I can highly recommend this documentary, even if you already know a lot about the Batman movies... you will learn about new aspects.
Joel Schuhmacher was (seemingly) rather disliked by many of the film crew (#lazy and no clue about Batman) and how Alicia Silverstone was shamed about her weight as the storyboard guy drew a very unflattering picture of her (which gets shown). And of course, everything about Michelle Pfeiffer, Catwoman, and the costumes is fascinating to me.
Plus the whole story about Sean Young who was planned to play Vicky Vale and didn't get to play it because of a horse accident
(Bruce Wayne and Vicki should have had a riding scene in "Batman", but that was deleted from the script after the accident)
And how she tried very HARD to get the Catwoman role in the second movie. (incl. running around in a Catwoman costume in talk shows...
Many folks get interviewed and you get quite a good view about certain mechanics of the movie business.
The only real negative aspect for me is that every episode starts with snippets from the episode to tease the audience.
But of course, you can skip that 1 or 2 minutes and don't get "spoilered".
