AI Tips, Suggestions, Recommendations, Updates and Feedback

If this thread is not already in existence, I just thought it might be useful to have a thread dedicated to AI art tips--a sort of ever expanding thread to help novices (such as I) gain more knowledge on the various AI image-creating sites and tools out there. I have been experimenting primarily with ChatGPT's SORA and Krea.AI, both of which have been quite good but could use more development. I would be interested in learning about other people's experiences and suggestions, for anyone willing to be a part of this thread. For what it's worth, here is one recent AI image I was able to generate.

Cool idea for a thread to discuss.

My experience so far is that the generators do quite well with more information, and they are quite good at working with the vibe of what you are going for if you convey more than just visual information - like giving details about someone's character.

Don't be afraid to iterate on a prompt to tweak the image output more to your liking, and don't be afraid to generate quite a few images from the prompt to give the generator a better chance of hitting on the right idea.

Watch out for cursed micro details - like hands. You can fix an image with editing tools on most generators and to hopefully correct these things.

Most don't like explicitly sexual prompts, so try a more artful way of expressing a similar idea to get through.
Lost in the night, and there is no morning.

Hey there,

First off, that's a really cool picture!

There's a post in the writer's workshop that covers similar topics, and you're more than welcome to share your experiences, tips, and platform of choice there too.

We could also try to create a group for that purpose, to regroup everything in one place for easy access.

Re: AI Tips, Suggestions, Recommendations, Updates and Feedback

Personally, I use a combination of Leonardo AI, Adobe Photoshop AI, Adobe Premiere AI - and most importantly Soulgen.

Soulgen's video feature can now create videos up to 20 seconds in 5 second intervals with the ability to update prompt inbetween each generation - absolute game changer. It does need a decent input image, but there is zero limit on prompts.

Soulgen's video AI image prompt tool does have a filter for some extreme content, but you can easily get around this by using the Soulgen Edit Image feature - just select a section of the background and describe it (e.g "grey background"). Once you generate the image and it's in the system, can be used by the animation tool.

As-is Soulgen can generate 20-second videos of literally anything, and does so really quite well - plus, you can take a still of the last frame and then continue the video generation. Sky's the limit.

Challenge is cost, is expensive - but the quality and ability of the video generator is impressive.

I'm very much a novice but I think NovelAI is really powerful and useful. Everything I've done has been on NovelAI and since it's web-based at $20/month for the unlimited plan it's cheaper than buying a computer just to run an image generator.

Im currently using imagen4, ChatGPT and ideogram. ChatGPT is really good in changing the viewing perspective and ideogram is good in fine tuning. Here’s an example starting with a real photo.

Can you give a link to the writer's workshop?

Love the idea of the group.
