I know that the folks who made my first quality costume for http://www.projectsuperwoman.com and perhaps also the one at SH.net were in Portland Oregon and went out of business. I know because I got an email that they were selling the business and any left over fabric.
There is a group that makes a really good 1984 replica in south America and the quality is great but it's not as sleek. Be aware of the Asian made eBay costumes - the quality is very irregular.
