Can you help with an online interview?

Hey, all.

This might sound a little strange, but I'm taking a class on media and we're doing studies on niche cinema. My study will focus on super heroine videos, through I know almost nothing about the genre (which I guess is the point of the assignment).

I'm supposed to explore the genre by chatting with directors, actors, or even (most-likely) consumers of the media to better understand it.

I know this might not be the most appropriate space for something like this, but you can reach me by email and we can talk there or just
g-chat or something. The report isn't sue until the end of the semester, but I'd really love to hear from you before that.

Oh - and if you can think of a more appropriate venue to find people to talk to about this, feel free to let me know that too.

I know it probably sounds pretty random and odd, but I'd just love to hear from you.

I'll answer a few questions that have already come up that others might have.

1. All of this is anonymous. I won't refer to individual people in what I write and what I write won't even be circulated. If I do in some exceptional case, really want to refer to someone, I can refer to you by a name, description, or pseudonym - your choice and I'll ask permission first.

2. Chatting by email or google chat is best for me, but I could also totally just talk on here if that's much better for you.

3. I'm nice and fun to talk to, I promise.
