Given that the Wonder Woman '77 comic is now finally up and running, we may very well see this being replicated in the hypothetical (inevitable?) crossover between it and Batman '66.
Presuming that Jeff Parker and/or Mark Andreyko are big enough geeks, anyways...

Would they dare extrapolate the Batman '66 universe to the late 70s, though?Omega Woman wrote:Given that the Wonder Woman '77 comic is now finally up and running, we may very well see this being replicated in the hypothetical (inevitable?) crossover between it and Batman '66.

I know there was that that awful Legends of the Superheroes thing that pretended the 60s Batman and Robin hadn't aged at all, but a proper late 70s update would need to move the story along by a whole decade.

Ehhh... they might be counting on the fact that in the young people's minds, the '60s and '70s are a mushy, interchangeable mess. Hippies, social unrest, terrible fashion choices, no Internet... the two decades have all that in common, and really, that might be all that matters.Heroine Addict wrote:Would they dare extrapolate the Batman '66 universe to the late 70s, though?Omega Woman wrote:Given that the Wonder Woman '77 comic is now finally up and running, we may very well see this being replicated in the hypothetical (inevitable?) crossover between it and Batman '66.
