Testing new video preview option (nothing important)

Just trying to see if any of these options work on forum boards.
If they do then i will have a way to seamlessly offer video previews without jumping through a million hoops.

I dont think phpbb suppports gifv embedded formats, by default anyway in this version. To be able to work around this and start using webm videos from most social media sites, The admin would have to install some type of plugin. IE --> https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2272431

That plugin is already installed, actually.


I can talk to the author and see if he can add support for animated gifs.

A workaround solution for you. Tweet it and just post the URL of the specific tweet on here. Everything will be done automatically.

That would work under normal circumstances....but when you have certain people actually stalking you to report everything wether its warranted or not you have to get creative. Thats what I'm trying to do. be creative.

Imgur currently has no regulation against privately posted material as long as its not posted to the public gallery. I could make my own youtube style previews but would have to host it on my own private server.

Just trying to find a way through all this.
