Chat Bar Question

Hello,

I'm hoping the answer is really obvious and somehow I missed it, but I received a chat message from another member that popped up in the chat bar along the bottom of the page (never noticed until I received the message). Somehow I closed it and I wanted to re-read it again but I have no idea where one goes to see past chat conversations (assuming they're stored). The member in question isn't online right now so I can't pick his name from this list of "Who's Online" to see if the history is there.

Anyone know how I can see past chat conversations?

From what I have experienced, you have to wait till the person you who messaged you is again on the site (listed in the "Chat Now") Once you see them, click on their name and the last few entries will be there.

This is correct.

Im not sure how long the system stores the chat messages but it should still be there...

I just thought I was missing something obvious.

When they do come on line and you click on the name in the Chat Now option when the box appears to write a message to them at the top of the box below the different icons (below the brush to clear messages, clock to show time etc) there is a Load Earlier Messages option so you can go back and view the previous exchange assuming you haven't deleted them by using the brush to clear them
