THADDEUS TINKERMAN, fondly known in Hattersville as the TOYMAKER, made his regular round through the store interacting customers who were doing their Christmas shopping. An 80 year old man dressed in a white suit who had the look and demeanor of Santa Claus, Tinkerman helped them to pick the right toys and collectibles.
While his store had lost some customers in recent times to competition from the growing number of malls and bigger department stores in town, Tinkerman was making a comeback in the days leading up to Christmas with many of his vintage toys and collectibles being sold. After mingling with his customers, Tinkerman waved goodbye to them and disappeared to the back of the store. The smile vanished from his face, replaced by an evil expression. Accessing a hidden elevator, the Toymaker descended to the basement of his store where his special workshop was located.
