Here's our hero Carles Recio.

Looks like he spent very good use of his time, writing erotic superheroines with names like Espanisima, Ferminua, Ilicia, Chuequina, and of course...Lesbianetta!

Plus I think he actually also wrote several books about the history of his city (Valencia) so he was also making good use of those archives he was in charge of. A win/win!

I took a deep dive into a newspaper website in Valencia and came up with a short video report which included these illuminating stills:
