Does anyone know? Female Marvel character with spiky waves of hair obscuring her face....

I know this is a long shot. But many years ago, maybe 20, I remember seeing a character in Marvel comics. It was a woman and I'm pretty sure it was in one of the X-Men titles, maybe in one of those comic where they were in the future.
She had the sexiest hair style. It was like these sort've spiky waves that partially obscured the sides of her face.

I realize it's not much to go on. Pretty sure it was a relatively minor character and only appeared briefly. Does anyone know who I'm talking about?

What color was the hair? What color was the character's skin? Do you remember anything else at all? Did you see it in a reprint book or an old issue? Was it in color?
Was it Rachel Summers? Do you remember any other characters that appeared?

No, it definitely wasn't one of the big well-known characters. It was some obscure mutant, I think. I have a sense that it was in the future.
I'm not sure about the hair color. I want to say black, maybe with a blue-ish tint like a shine. She was a slender white woman and in my head, I am picturing the old yellow and blue x-men uniform on her.
