Not sure if anyone heard of this game called Dispatched. It was released 2 months ago, and you play as Mecha Man (Voiced by Aaron Paul). Mecha Man tried to find the killer of his father and was ambushed, and while he escaped unharmed, it dealt a heavy blow to his Mecha Suit (Funny enough, Mecha Man is the only one in the team don't have any superpower)
Now retired from Superhero Duty, you are forced to work as a Superhero Dispatcher in the Superhero Dispatcher Network (SDN), it's similar to 911, normal people calling in for help in some mundane issue. Instead of dispatching cops, you dispatch a superhero...Anyway, you are now in charge of the Z Squad, a group of reformed supervillains. And they don't trust you, and you don't trust them.
This is a fun game with quite a few good superheroine character (such as Blazer, Invisigal, Coupe, Brainbook and Prism)
It's a fun game, very highly recommended in steam, and it's quirky, witty and bashful, it's a foul mouth comedy. I enjoy this very much, and I wish there are more cosplayer aware of this game and dressed up as Blazer or Prism. (Other character is fine too, but these are the 2 I liked very much)

Re: Superhero Game - Dispatch! Starring Aaron Paul
Wow! You sent me down a rabbit hole, and je regrette rien. To be honest, I've been seeing "Blonde Blazer" for the past couple months all over Deviant Art, and I just naively assumed it was someone's popular original character. Appparently not!
This is such a great concept, and not at all original. Not only does it have plenty of aspects of Invincible, Ultra, and The Boys, but I'm sensing that I can trace several characters indirectly to characters from Powers. (although these creators might be too young to have heard of that)
For example, Zora (shown here) is very similar to Prism. Blonde Blazer is basically Retro Girl: the old version was brunette, and the younger one is blonde!
Nonetheless, Dispatch is just a good synthesis of what the 'gritty realism meets quippy humor' style of 21st century superhero adventures have become.
I've just gotta start by posting something super hot. The girl 'Mandy' has the superpower and amazing transformation most of us dream of, not just here on peril forums like SHF and Heroine News but also on SuperheroineTF Reddit and Superwomanmania (whatever's left of it). She's a brunette who puts on an amulet in a typical magical girl/I have the power scenario, and she becomes two inches taller, more muscular, and gorgeously blonde - of course, all packaged in a tight spandex costume which shows off all of her assets. So basically, she is DC's Amethyst? Or some kind of female Super Saiyan? (I don't know much about that world, to be honest, but that's what the kids are saying). At this point, all we need is a Manic version of this TF, right?
A sexy transformation like this is so rare in Western media these days, it gave me chills. It might do the same for you! [And if they can translate this somehow to live action...whoa, nellie!]
Blonde Blazer and Invisigal cosplayers looking fine!
Prism cosplay sexy as hell.
Malevola flexes and boom.
Coupe sizzling hot!
[Looks like these creators might have a little obsession - they went so heavy on the hot black girls, they forgot about everyone else! ha ha]
That's it for now. Since I don't play video games, I can only nibble around the edges of this universe until there's a comic book or a live-action show. I don't see why there wouldn't be - cosplayers have proven how easy it is to make the costumes.
Speaking of which, it should be just easy for producers like TBFE or Primal to make these costumes as well. Let's start with a Blonde Blazer parody where Mandy requires an orgasm to power up her transformation amulet. It writes itself.
Thanks so much for posting this, Spike Eagle! I'm clearly in the wrong 'business' and should be making video games.

I highly recommend this one. It's barely a game - it's barely even interactive fiction - so even if you aren't a gamer at all, this is still well worth your time and money. Failing that, you can essentially watch this in full on youtube playlists of others who have clips of the story progression and variations - which was also incredible free marketing that helped the game go viral.
If you want to watch a really good superhero story, I think this is the best place you can turn. It's honestly superb - I loved virtually everything about it. It's legitimately sexy at times, as well, and has a whole roster of visually stunning, genuinely well-written heroines that perfectly hit the balance of presenting like plausible mature characters in a serious story, while also being extremely pleasing on the eye. They also manage to make the protagonist - who would usually be a super boring, generic dude that the female cast are inexplicably drawn to - possibly the most likable, compelling character in the whole thing. Aaron Paul smashes it.

*Grumbles*
You start a conversation about a game in the proper place and nobody notices but you throw it in the lounge and everyone's got something to say >_>
...............
But in all seriousness this game is THE best Superhero thing going on atm. Blonde Blazer is the GOAT of superheroines.

Well, this isn't a typical video game; it's more of a choice-based game. It leads to the same thing in the end; the question is simply who you choose to be with. (You can either choose to be with Mandy or Courtney)shevek wrote: ↑6 months agoWow! You sent me down a rabbit hole, and je regrette rien. But the main fight scene is the same.
I know some people who are going to make a live action of this and recreate the Blonde Blazer and Robert scene you were looking at.
But yes, if you don't want to play the game yourself, you can always watch clips from YouTube, they make it like a mini-anime series, so you don't lose much by not making those choices.

Yeah, the story of this game is very good, I would say it beats the craps of almost all the current superhero movies out there, the heroes are goofy and fun to watch, but then they all have their badass momentVoid wrote: ↑6 months agoI highly recommend this one. This is my favourite line of the game
I can see I'm outnumbered, that eventually I would fall. But, by my read....I'm taking a lot of you with me. So, all of you can leave now....or half of you....can die here.
Re: Superhero Game - Dispatch! Starring Aaron Paul
Here's a longer version of that clip, combining the Shroud-Blazer confrontation, the final battle against Shroud & Red Ring,
and the celebration afterwards where Mandy and Robert finally kiss.
I have one question: does the game *never* show Mandy transforming into Blonde Blazer? (as opposed to the reverse)
And also an important note:
Apparently if you buy the "deluxe" version of the game, you get six free digital comic book issues with side stories from the universe,
including a depiction of how Robert's father was murdered by Shroud.

Pretty. much got what I could out of watching a bunch of videos without actually playing the game.
As I said, Blonde Blazer has randomly popped up on DA quite a bit.
Here's a Russian cosplayer from DA named Lady Melamor.
The costume is so tight and sexy and well-made, it's hard to believe that it's real and not AI, but I guess these Russians know what they're doing.
