I want to address something that I am sure other producers deal with a lot, I know I do, and that is the loss of videos due to a computer crash or a disk crash or lightning strike or any other reasons to make your ones and zeroes go bye bye.
I get constant requests to re-download files all the time. I try to help out but when I built my sites, I didn't make a provision to do this easily. Which means I have to go in one by one and send them. I suppose I could write code to handle this for me but that takes a lot of time and honestly, does that responsibility lie with the producer? Or should you, as a consumer, be ...ahem...backing up your files??

Now, don't get me wrong. I sympathize. I really do. As a matter of fact, I have a bricked hard drive that I keep on my desk. I've had it for 10 years. It's half filled with content that you and I will never see because I never backed it up and it failed within 6 months of purchase. Stuff from back in 2005 I tried all the tricks. Freezing it, yelling at it, I had my girlfriend at the time try to seduce it, but it wouldn't give up the goods. So it sits there, as a reminder for me to back up my work and my files.
So I appeal to you all. Get some kind of backup! Look at this little guy.
He can hold 64 gig of stuffs and it's 3.0 which means you could view it right from the stick, you don't even need to put it on your hard drive! (Of course, then you would need a backup for your backup, but I digress) What's best? if it comes down that you might be found out by your significant other, you can swallow the evidence! (You could even look for it in your poop later on when the coast is clear).
AND, It's only 23 beans! Plus free shipping with your Amazon Prime! Hey hey! great deal!

Anyway, you get the point. Backups are fun! (No they're not but they're really handy!)
