Starz have put out some new trailers for the second season. After two decades of waiting for a fourth Evil Dead, the last season really delivered an abundance of grooviness. Looking forward to more Campbell kickassery.

Apparently, the rights issues over referencing Army of Darkness have been cleared up for Season 2. Not that it matters, seeing as this series follows on from the Theatrical Cut of that movie, in which Ash returned to the present day. (The Director's Cut ended with a scene shot at Bronson Canyon - the 1960s Batcave entrance - in which Ash "slept too long" and wound-up in a post-apocalypse wasteland. And no, I'm not apologizing for the 'spoiler'. You should have seen every version of Army of Darkness by now.)

Both versions are on the DVD.

Got to love how Ash can still be the idiot that saves the world when he would rather be enjoying himself.

That last episode ended on one fucker of a cliffhanger. Don't click on the trailer for next week's if you haven't caught up yet.
