1. Batgirl - figure hugging costume and it could be any gal behind that mask. Helen Slater, Lynda Carter, anybody
2. Supergirl - always liked blondes and you get to see her arse when her skirt rises up as she flies
3. Wonder Woman - she runs around in a basque- nuff said.
4.Powergirl - she's thoughtfully put a porthole in her costume so you can see her tits better.
5. Bionic Woman -loved Lyndsey Wagner in the 70s and with her bionic ear she was the first woman who ever listened to a man. Still didnt hear the odd hoodlum creeping up behind her though.
6. Catwoman - bit ambiguous as a hero but ya know, Michelle Pfeiffer, Julie Newmarr, Halle Berry are all reason enough .
7. Storm - I'm British we have a thing about the weather, and I got a thing about her. She could make my allotment grow any time she chooses.
8. Sheena Queen of The Jungle - the only woman I have ever known who didnt care about shoes
9. SpiderWoman. - I dont like spiders, but I'd bang the legs off of her.
10. Mystique. She aint a hero for sure and she's blue. But on the plus side shes naked all the time and can morph into any woman you want her to.

Strong, robust, coherent characters that I really believe as heroines. Formidable, clever, sexy - any peril that befalls them is spectacular precisely because it's so rare to see them vulnerable.
It also appears that 'wears black' is an important quality to me. Simone's Batgirl also deserves an honourable mention - wish we had a lot more of that.

FWIW

1. Batgirl. This genre wouldn't be what it is without Yvonne Craig.
2. Wonder Woman. Too early to tell how important Gal Gadot will be, but Lynda Carter introduced a lot of us to hot women in spandex getting in trouble. Speaking of which...
3. Electra Woman. Deidre Hall was the best actress playing a superheroine.
4. Supergirl. While Melissa Benoist introduced new aspects to Supergirl, Helen Slater was the hottest superheroine actress.
5. Jean Grey. Thanks to her for bringing us Famke Janssen. In black leather.
6. Black Widow. As long as Scarlett Johannson keeps playing her, she'll only climb in my rankings.
7. Black Canary. She only had her martial arts, sonic cry, and a lot of courage.
8. DynaGirl. If only her cape was shorter and hair out of pigtails...
9. Storm. I'm trying not to hold Catwoman against her.
10. Supernova Prime. Time for Melody Sky to make the big leagues.

Poised to make my next list: Huntress. The daughter of a superhero and supervillainess deserves a great movie.

Honorable Mention: Col. Wilma Deering. Erin Gray in spandex on well-lit sets makes me happy.
