Did you know you could skewer Supergirl and keep her alive and well by using a kryptonite tipped adamantium skewer, and then removing the kryptonite? What a lovely prize that makes.

Wondering if making the jump to pure 3d is worth it.

I think the mix of real and 3D works well - you have good skill in blending the two and I guess you have a little more control over skin tone and lighting on 3D models to match best the heads of those you are working with. The "Lena Tortures Supergirl" scene was one good example - Kara chained face down on the bed another. I am not sure going exclusively 3D (no photo/screencap elements) will have the same effect as your previous work.

agree that blending the two works best. skin tones are easy to change on either. What is difficult is mixing hardlight (shadows), and diffuse lighting. The trick is to use diffuse lighting and manipulate the tone to suit.

I agree that blending 3d and photo elements seems to work best. 3d humans these days seem to be very realistic, but the face is still lacking. So adding the two together is a match made in heaven. Besides these 3d figures seem to have flawless bodies, which is ultra suitable for Supergirl. A beautiful canvas to work on.
